Stayed Sep 29, 2024Quiet cabin with all the amenities. Very clean, excellent communication with the owner, who was very helpful with local history and recommendations. We loved easy access to the North Fork area and the Apgar entrance to Glacier NP. Highly recommended for couples or families.

Stayed Jul 23, 2023Communication was fantastic. Dave came by to make sure we didn't need anything, and we felt very taken care of. The fire pit/grilling/recycling area is a great amenity. It was the perfect jumping off point for all of our wilderness adventures in Glacier national park.

Stayed Jun 25, 2023The cabin was perfect! The location made it easy to access Glacier Park and Flathead National Forest, as well as Whitefish. We took a day trip south along Flathead Lake to the Bison Range, with lots of animals and wildflowers. We went across Logan Pass, of course, took a boat ride on Lake McDonald, saw lots of big horn sheep. We also went east and north to Browning to the Museum of the Plains Indians. Being at the cabin made all this possible as well as having the family time I had hoped for in such a pleasant environment. The details and amenities were so welcoming.

Stayed Aug 31, 2022The cabin was spotlessy clean, very comfortable and well stocked. It was the PERFECT place to stay while visiting GNP! Access to the park was a breeze and the restaurants/grocery store in Columbia Falls are nearby. We would definitely stay at Reclusive Moose again and I plan on recommending it to my friends and family. Thanks so much for providing us with a beautiful, peaceful place to rest and recharge after our long days of hiking and exploring!!

Stayed Sep 6, 2022This is a great cabin located in a quiet area away from the highway, but a short drive to West Entrance at Glacier. It’s a nice small collection of a few cabins. Ours was awesome. Two bedrooms, comfortable beds, very clean & well stocked kitchen. Wish we had more then one night there. Would definitely stay at again.

Stayed Jun 23, 2022We were impressed how clean the cabin was! The location was peaceful and close to glacier. We have two young kids so it was nice to have a little room for them to burn off energy outside.
