We had a great stay in the Off The Map cabin. It was beautiful, clean, and we had everything we needed. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub on the cold winter nights. The first night we were there we had a power outage due to a faulty breaker and it was the coldest night of the season so far. We reached out to Shane and he was super responsive and so kind. He brought propane heaters for us to use while we gathered our things and he put us in another cabin for the night. He had the breaker in our cabin repaired the next morning. I have nothing but nice things to say about Shane and his property. We would not hesitate to return!

Cabin was clean, just as described. Very close to everything you could want in a mountain stay. We only had a short 2 night stay but will be definitely booking in the future.

We were looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway with our seven year old son and this was the perfect spot. The cabin was very well maintained and we walked down to the river to fish every morning and evening of our stay. Centrally located, quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return!

The caretaker was very nice. Although I did search for a property with a hot tub specifically for the kids but once we got there they said no kids under 16 could use it so that was disappointing. Also I thought from the pictures it was a little more isolated but we had neighbors with one being about 8 feet from my window

This trailer park of tiny homes did not impress us. For our 9th anniversary we booked one of these tiny cabins. Even before we checked in our problems started. They didn't send the check in info so i messaged them through the app, no response. So i found the phone number and texted the owner that way. He was responsive , maybe too responsive because he called about 5 times that evening and told me I had not added our dog. Then called back saying actually I had. Now our dog does have anxiety but in the listing it makes you believe this is a secluded cabin. However, it's5 ft from the next cabin. He called us yet again the next day and told us we had to come get our pup because she was whining. After rearranging our whole afternoon, we were fed up with the whole situation. We almost just went camping, seeing as we didn't feel welcome or wanted. The owner never reached back out, imagine that. We washed all the dishes before we used them because many of them still had food on them from the last guest. Also, big also, the water from the showers and sinks all tasted of rust. Nasty. They need to address this and others should know. * btw if i leave a review its five star, this is the only time I've ever written a bad one. We just felt it was necessary for other pet parents and people who don't want to brush thier teeth with rust.

My family really enjoyed there stay. My boys loved being right on the river to fish and built a fire in the firepit. And we did as well. Loved the hottub very nice to relax after long day of tubing which was nearby and walking to the linville falla and walking thru caverns which are all near by

Clean and comfortable property, had all amenities needed, Wi-Fi, tv, heaters, fireplace, 4 person hot tub, enough bedding, full kitchen. Just did not like the well water, had to use our own water for cooking. Good value for what we needed and responsive manager.

Good things first: the stream and setting were beautiful, the house was well equipped, the neighbors were very welcoming and the bed was cozy I don’t like to complain but we arrived at about 5pm and requested the lock box # and cabin number and received no response until 730. Luckily a kind neighbor helped us locate the cabin and provide us with the lockbox# by about 6:30 This may have not bothered me too much if we hadn’t made dinner plans and missed them due to timing. Unfortunately the fireplace was also not working and Josh apologized. The spa had a very heavy bleach smell, rendering it unusable for us, it may have not bothered someone else. If I hadn’t filtered my search to include a fireplace and spa, these last two item would not have been significant but because I did it was very disappointing.
