While we may not always be able to stop by in person, our trusted local team is nearby and ready to assist with any urgent needs.

Built in 2024, our modern cabin sits in the peaceful Paradise Estates community, perfectly positioned for exploring Mt. Rainier. Just 1.5 miles off Hwy 706E and a quick 7-minute drive to the Nisqually entrance, you’ll feel tucked away between the Nisqually River and Big Creek while still close to trails, scenic drives, and local gems. Paradise Visitor Center is only 30 minutes away, making day trips effortless and unforgettable.

You’ll have full access to the cabin and property. Two owner’s closets and a small supply area by the laundry remain locked. Park on the gray gravel drive (space for 3 cars). When leaving, please lock the slider (with security bar), front door, and close the gate.

Our updated cabin blends modern comfort with peaceful forest views. Enjoy an open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, foosball table, smart TV, and oversized windows. The fully stocked kitchen includes stainless appliances, quality cookware, spices, and a complete coffee setup.

The master bedroom features a king bed with tranquil mountain views, while the fun twin-over-queen bunk room overlooks the surrounding forest. Bathrooms are hotel-clean with backlit mirrors, a walk-in shower, and luxury touches.

Step outside to your private spa experience: a cedar barrel sauna, hot tub under string lights, firepit seating area, covered deck with a Solo Stove, and a fully fenced yard please note, the gate is kept open in winter to avoid any access issues due to limited solar power. A private BBQ grill makes outdoor cooking a breeze, and a Level 2 EV charger is available for guest use.

Kid-friendly perks include a Pack ’n Play, highchair, toys, books, and a magical teepee nook. Games and thoughtful details throughout make this space perfect for couples, families, and small groups seeking comfort and connection.

★CUSTOMER REVIEWS★
Book your stay here! My family of five loves hiking and relaxing, and this was the crown jewel airb&b of Mount Rainier! Where to begin Our hosts were extremely helpful and kind! The home felt extremely spacious, luxurious, and impeccably clean (my husband is a squeaky clean type of guy and this place got a 10/10 for him!). The hot tub and sauna were above and beyond. We hiked every day, then retreated back to this cabin and didn’t ever want to leave. We were all so sad to leave - not many vacations feel this way! You better book your stay now before I beat you to it and book our next visit!

Wonderful and thoughtful place. Great location to visit Mount Rainier NP. The hot tub and sauna were great amenities to enjoy during our spring trip. Paulina was super friendly and responsive. We will surely be returning in the near future
- Victor, April 2026

What an amazing host 5 min from rainier entrance! Hot tub and sauna were perfect !

Ashford is a rural mountain community, and the best way to explore is with your own vehicle. Public transportation is not available, and ride-share or taxi services are very limited.

From the cabin:
– Turn left on Kernahan Rd E to reach Hwy 706E. Right leads to the Mt. Rainier National Park entrance; left takes you toward Ashford and back to Elbe.
– Turn right on Kernahan Rd E to follow scenic Skate Creek Rd (closed in winter) for 23 miles to Packwood and Hwy 12.

★ Guest Guidelines – Making Your Stay Easy + Enjoyable ★
• Power Outages – Life in the mountains can come with the occasional outage. Flashlights are in every room. Heat, hot water, and cooking still work; hot tub, Wi-Fi, and wall heaters will pause until power returns.
• Pet Policy – While we love animals, Ridgeline Retreat is a pet-free home. ADA-trained service animals are welcome with prior notice and documentation.
• Smart TVs – Both Roku TVs are set to Guest Mode. Feel free to log in to your favorite apps — you’ll be automatically logged out at checkout.
• Septic Awareness – Please avoid stepping on the raised mound in the southeast corner of the yard. It’s part of our septic system and needs to stay healthy!
• Clean & Fresh – The cabin is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each stay. No smoking or pets are permitted inside the home.
• Firewood – You’re welcome to use any leftover firewood. Otherwise, local vendors have great bundles nearby. Please follow local burn ban guidance.
• Visitors – Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Infants count toward total occupancy.
• Hot Tub/Sauna Safety – For your health, we recommend avoiding hot tub use if you are pregnant or have heart or circulatory concerns.
• Early Check-In/Late Check-Out – We may be able to accommodate early check-in at 3PM with 24 hours’ notice ($30, if our schedule allows). Late check-outs are not available.
• Security Note – A single exterior camera monitors the driveway and front entry. There are no interior cameras.

We had an absolute fabulous stay. With the cabin being, gated it made the women enjoy their evenings around the fire pit more enjoyable, not having to worry about straying animals. The hot tub came in handy after a long hike in the Rainier Natl Park, to definitely rest our tired muscles. The cabin had just about everything you needed too, fully furnished kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and all linens supplied. Nick and Paulina were very caring about our stay to make sure everything was acceptable. Would definitely come back here next time we come to see our daughter living in the Seattle area now. We were within 10” of the entrance of Rainier Natl Park. Highly recommend this cabin! Don&Michelle

The house was so clean and perfect. Little touches like chocolates by the bedside table, snacks and the personalized note when we arrived all made us feel welcome. The house was very clean. Kitchen well stocked with oil and spices. Host was very responsive, and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future stays!

I can’t say enough amazing things about this house and the hosts. I was completely blown away by how thoughtful and kind these hosts were from the first message, to the hand written welcome, the perfect pillows, to the beautiful amenities and quick helpful responses. We will absolutely be back and had a lovely experience overall. Thank you Nick & Paulina!

This home was thoughtfully designed, well stocked, and organized. This is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at and we travel quite a bit. The home is within minutes to Mount Rainier National Park, where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace at night wrapped up in blankets after a day of hiking. Our one regret- not staying longer and using the hot tub. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend staying here.

Home was exactly as pictured—very clean, excellent full kitchen with condiments. Bathrooms/amenities went over and beyond. Large backyard—great for kids. Location was 7 min from Nisqually entrance. Would recommend and book again in the future!

We stayed one night and it was the perfect landing place for being close to the mountain. Easy access to nearby amenities and Mount rainier. Beautiful, new home that is very clean with great accommodations.
