This is a Pay it Forward cabin, I did my part you do yours, Thank You.

The cabin is approximately 800 square feet. The bathroom is in the bathhouse, not the cabin. the bathhouse and outhouse are about 20 yards from the cabin. The cabin is one large open room with two foldout sofa sleepers, both are queens. There is a sliding curtain that can be used to isolate the foldout couches for semiprivate sleeping area. It has been used as a sleeping/living area, gathering room for all guests, wedding receptions, dances, or private get together. There is a ping-pong table, an oak bar, dining room table and a marble countertop. There is an open outside deck located on the back of the cabin, and a lounge deck on the front.
THERE IS A CENTRAL BATHHOUSE AND An Outhouse located on the property that can be used by all guests in the Cottontail, Thumper and Rabbit Den, The Wild Hare has its own bathroom yet when the water is shut off in the winter months the guests can use the outhouse or bathhouse. The Bathhouse is attached at the end of the yellow timed cabin (Cottontail). It has one shower, one toilet and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property (see property layout) for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse. PLEASE, be respectful of all guests and leave clean. Please remind children to do the same.

For Water, there is a well on the property, but I suggest you bring a few gallons of drinking water, if you do not like well water. The well is shown on the property layout.
Off-season 'Winter' is when water is shut off to the cabin and Bathhouse.
This is from Oct 15th till Approx till May 1st.
If the water has been shut off to the cabin, verify water is still on at the Bathhouse that is attached to the Cottontail.

Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $20 more per night per pet per guest. Make sure you verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. Like you tell me one pet and got 5, or one guest and I arrive to find a tent and a camper. Thank You, All and Jeff

If you bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best, you inform Jeff immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. If you do not inform Jeff/use the drop box, you will be charged double when leave. This will come out of your damage deposit. That is $40 per night for each and not $20. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. (OR) you will lose your deposit. I am tired of people not the pets trying to get over on me and me letting it happen. It took too many years to fix these places up, never getting paid and now, I just wanted to be treated as I ask. Thank You Jeff and all honest guests!

I do have internet upon request, I want people to spend time together not by texting but by bonding as the old days. I will give you the password, but I do not want downloading movies or streaming music, it will slow or shut down from overuse, business only.
Do not give to children tell them to play games, puzzles, catch/kick ball, enjoy the outdoors

IT IS SUGGESTED YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING,
Remember, this is your cabin and others in the mountains Cheers
Linens or sleeping bags and pillowcases
Towels and dish cloths
Toilet paper and paper towels
Trash Bags
Provided are pillows and blankets, not pillowcases

All can be provided for a fee, but advanced notice is a must, minimum cost is $25 per bed, includes bedding (top and bottom sheet), 2 pillowcases, 2 towels, 2 wash cloths.

Firewood is available for purchase on the property for outside fires

Each cabin is fully furnished with refrigerator, microwave, popcorn popper, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffeepot, toaster, electric hot plates, electric skillets, crock pot and other misc. kitchen equipment. NO Full-size oven in this cabin, only cabin with oven is Wild Hare or the Little Dome.

Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill and a fire pit.

For Water, there is a well on the property, but I suggest you bring a few gallons of drinking water, if you do not like well water. The well is shown on the property layout.
Off-season 'Winter' is when water is shut off to the cabin and Bathhouse.

This is from Approx. November 1 to Approx. April 15 to May 1, depends on the weather/mother nature.
If the water has been shut off to the cabin, verify water is still on at the Bathhouse that is attached to the Cottontail.

You can still rent the cabins and go to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs only 5 minutes away (1.5 miles) down the valley for soaking and swimming.
There is an outhouse on the property (see property layout on Bunnylane Cabins Web page), also book in cabin shows property layout, also sign on door of cabin.
For Water, there is a well on the property, but I suggest you bring a few gallons of drinking water, if you do not like well water. The well is shown on the property layout.

Beautiful location! We fell in love with a neighborhood cat and some stocky goats who lived near by.

We loved it so much we stayed 4 nights instead of the two we originally planned. Perfect for day trips to some of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. We will definitely try and come back again!

I booked this property last minute and didn't really look at the details. We had always had great experiences with VRBO's. We arrived in the dark after hours in the car, imagine our dismay when we walked into the cabin and realized there was no bedroom or inside bathroom. Our noses told us that the whole place was grungy and unsanitary. I've stayed in many rustic cabins, but none as dirty and awful as this one. We didn't know what else to do but spend the night and luckily I had brought sheets and pillows from home. We made the trip to the foul-smelling outhouse. Needless to say, we didn't stay for the entirety of our reservation... YUCK!!!So much for the paying it forward - cleaning idea

Maybe nice for a family reunion get-together and go hiking or have som’mores. Pull out couches are probably only comfortable for one person to sleep on. Lighting good at dark to go to find your way to the bath house at night for using the restroom. People are friendly and helpful in the area. We stayed in the rabbit den cabin. There is no cell service but wiifii is available.

My pups and I had fantastic time. If you desire re-connection with Nature and to re-discover your true Nature, Bunny Ranch is excellent place. Hidden away serene place of peace and simplicity.

Amazing location, good price, good management. If you keep in mind that conditions are a bit primitive, you'll really enjoy yourself.

Great rustic, cozy cabin in the mountains, it provided great access to a lot of adventures we wanted to have in that area. We drove to St. Elmo, fished at nearby lakes, Mt. Princeton was seconds away. We had a fabulous time.

Great little cabin in the woods. Clean, comfortable, surprisingly well equipped with kitchen necessities. Really enjoyed the lack od technology and the the provided gamea and puzzles. Bathroom, while not attached and shared with other cabins, was clean and really did t have any issuea with other guests. Scenery was beautiful. It was the escape we needed.
