Great cabin! Loved our stay.

Everything was great for a weekend getaway.

The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to include a waffle maker, and The hot tub was hot enough, although we did not use it. We had a great time and look forward to our next visit.

What a beautiful wood-filled and quiet cabin! It would be perfect to come in the summer when you can really take advantage of the Shenandoah River and also a great place to get snowed in during the winter. We made use of the ideal hiking weather on the Blue Ridge Parkway and our dog loved roaming around the property. The hot tub was awesome and Shenandoah and Luray were super cute to visit.

Had a great time. Couldn't get our small SUV up the drive way but that wasn't too much of an issue once we climbed the hill. Would consider returning!

This is our first time booking on VRBO, and the Hilltop Cabin absolutely set the standard. It had all of the amenities we were looking for: hot tub, 2-person jacuzzi, propane grill, fire pit, large porch, and plenty of space for our pups to run around. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, scenic, quiet, secluded, clean, and rustic with plenty of modern features. Additionally, the host was quick to respond and very helpful when questions popped up. After not taking a trip for a few years, my boyfriend and I were not disappointed. We would definitely consider booking again.

The only reason for four stars, was that apparently the DISH network was disconnected at the beginning of February, and no smart tv option was available in the bedroom. My wife always has the tv on before bed, and we were not able to get that tv to work in the bedroom.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this private, beautiful cabin retreat, nestled in the foothills of the Shenandoah mountains. Well equipped and comfortable stay! I would highly recommend!

The cabin was warm, lovely, with plenty of room. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the tv was buffering due to poor internet speed (I suspect) and my party is big football fans desiring to see the playoffs. The instructions left by the owner were easy to following and they were generally easy to reach. I would recommend this cabin to a friend.

Host was great only 4 stars becouse there isn’t an option for a 4.8 had to leave early due to the big storm host gave us a day to make up which was great we booked another trip there was a lot of stuff we wanted to see that we didn’t get a chance to this time around wanna thank you Catalina you’ve been great to work with

This was our 2nd time staying at a this cabin and we fell in love with it all over again. Everything was very clean, and we enjoyed the hot tub.

We had a great stay! Host was very welcoming and responsive. The cabin was very clean and homey. We didnt expect it, but it was even decorated for Christmas which was wonderful. The hot tub is well maintained. We also greatly appreciated the firewood left to use. I'm unsure if the place will remain a rental when sold but if so, we will be back! The cabin was beautiful! We had a very special weekend there even doing our proposal there! All the furniture was very comfy, and the downstairs bathroom was huge! You will definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the driveway though.

Believe me when they say bring a 4wheel drive pls do the driveway is rather steep I had a 2wheel drive and made it. But I’ll definitely be back

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything was in great shape. We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub or use the showers because of our short stay, but it was a very tidy and comfortable vacation cabin.

Very nice and clean place. The only downfall was the first part of the driveway, but we have AWD so wasn't a big deal just rough.

Beautiful, clean, and secluded! The hot tub is new and the furniture is very comfortable. Very big, yet cozy, and easily sleeps 6 (if not more if you bring an air mattress). The master bath is very large. Just be warned that you will not make it up the driveway without a four-wheel-drive vehicle. There is space to park at the bottom of the driveway but the walk is steep and those with ambulatory issues won't be able to access the property.

The cabin was exactly as described with a large Jacuzzi tub, 2 person shower and outdoor hot tub. My wife and I enjoyed relaxing at the cabin after days enjoying outdoor adventures nearby.

The Good:Good mattress on king bed, secluded getaway as promised, generous with supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.). We wanted to be alone and no one bothered us during our stay (much appreciated).The Bad:Furniture seemed like it was selected by your grandparents if your granddad was over 6' and your grandmother was barely 5'. Eclectic mix of tall and short furniture, including the shortest toilets we've used in decades. Some electronic device also chirped every minute for hours at a time, then would be quiet for several hours and start again. Believe the owners when they recommend 4WD. It had rained before we arrived and I'm glad we had it. More extensive self-cleaning requirements than most VRBOs.The UglyThe free internet was not worth using and struck us as false advertising. Sometimes it was under 1MB a minute, and email was painfully slow. Forget trying to use anything else. Using my cell phone as a hotspot was literally over 100 times faster. As much as the owners charge, they should use a faster service such as T-Mobile or Starlink instead of the horrific local service that reminded us of dial-up speeds.

This cabin was perfect for a nice cool getaway during our trip to Shenandoah. Close to a very cute main street with local spots. Would recommend just sitting out on the porch and listening to all the birds with your coffee every morning….magical!!

The cabin were beautiful… They were very efficient and quick to get back to your responses. It was in a great location right near the Shenandoah river and easy access to restaurants.

Cabin was nice but very disappointed with the dead bugs and buildup of dust on blinds, rails and furniture. Pictures should be updated to match the property now. No chairs even close to fire pit, porch chairs nasty, jets in hot tub would rarely come on. View from porch was ok but not the view her pictures show.

Great property to relax and unwind. Lots of birds and a few animals…deer and groundhogs passing by. Driveway is steep and definitely need an all-wheel or four -wheel drive vehicle. House had everything you need!

We got married in the backyard. Me and my new husband had a lovely time. We loved the setup of the house. It was very comfortable. Even my dog liked the house. Shout out to triple Crown barbecue. They were amazing. Same thing with Ciro's Italian eatery, good food and great service. And we had a lot of fun at the lurray caverns, definitely do the gem bags.

Life has been chaotic at home and we needed some peace and quiet. We've stayed at Hilltop before and have always found that that's exactly what it provides.

Our stay at this cabin was great! The listing was accurate. The driveway is steep however my newer Chevy Trailblazer with front wheel drive was able to maneuver it okay. Would definitely be harder on ice or snow. Gladys was VERY accommodating, especially when the provided propane tank was empty. She was able to bring one to us same day. Would consider booking here again!

Great cabin in the middle of nature - just what we wanted! One of the few places we have stayed in that is pet friendly and didn't smell like animals when we walked in. (We don't have pets, and are sensitive to the smell if not cleaned properly). We didn't spend a ton of time there - we were out hiking and touring, but the bed was comfortable and everything we needed was there! Great stay!

Overall, this is a great place and we would likely stay there again if one major and one minor issue were fixed. It’s close to a few small towns, as well as Skyline Drive and, of course, Luray Caverns. It’s secluded and perfect for couples and small families. Our biggest issue was the king bed in the master bedroom, which is beautiful and has plenty of storage. It’s attached to a nice large bathroom, which does have an oversized Jacuzzi tub. The issue is that the bed is worn and sags A LOT. We both woke up with significant back pain each morning. There just isn’t any support left in the mattress. I know that beds are very subjective, and maybe people who like super soft mattresses would be ok with it, but we were in pain for the first 1-2 hours each day as our backs loosened up. The only other issue is the water pressure, or lack thereof. The master shower is big and had dual shower heads, but there is not much water pressure out of either side, so it takes a long time to rinse off, especially if you have long hair. If these two issues were fixed, the place would be just about perfect!One final tip - the driveway is VERY steep. This was disclosed in our check-in info, but I didn’t notice it in the VRBO description. I have a front wheel drive Acura sedan and we did fine. But if you have RWD or it’s raining, getting up the driveway could be an issue.

Very private location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Nice weekend getaway with the family.

From check in to check out, we had a good time. However, the property was less to be desired because of the lack of cleaning. We found dead bugs everywhere, mouse droppings, a mouse in the cabinets with the dishes, and we had to wash the dishes before using them. Also, the trash cans were running over with trash, making it difficult to throw away our trash. The location of the fire pit also made it difficult to have a proper fire in because it is right next to the dry hillside, even after having rain in the area.

This is a beautiful cabin. Very clean, close to everything in the area. We enjoyed our stay and will probably stay here again!

No need to look any further for a beautiful home at a reasonable price. Everything about this home was exactly as promoted in the app. Super comfortable, plenty of space and an awesome hot tub awaits. The house is situated on a mountain top with plenty of privacy. Both decks are spacious and comfortable. Lastly, the owner was very accessible and a nice person to talk to.

I have only great things to say about this gorgeous property in the heart of Shenandoah. The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as advertised. Gladys was a gem of a host. The driveway was challenging to navigate in the middle of an active winter, but it was well worth it! Would absolutely love to stay here again, especially in the summer.

This is a beautiful and well appointed cabin.It was clean, and just the right setting for a snowy getaway weekend. My only complaint is that we should have booked a longer stay. Definitely make sure you have a car that can get up the hill, we had no problem ( all wheel drive) even in the snow.

We had such a great time relaxing and enjoying the quiet. It was a 25 min drive to the Massanutten resort. The csbin itself was very cozy and comfortable. It was very clean and well maintained.

My fiancé and I stayed a long weekend for his birthday to getaway and this by far was just what we were looking for. So quiet, secluded and cozy cabin. Everything was perfect, from the cozy ambiance to the jacuzzi bath and hot tub. We didn’t want to leave and are already figuring out when to come back!

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin during a weekend to visit Shenandoah National Park. Our all-wheel drive vehicle was able to navigate the steep driveway. We appreciated the comfy bed after active days of sight-seeing!

The house was clean, in a quiet area, and had very comfortable furniture. It felt spacious and gave us lots of ability to spread out. Don't ignore the message about needing a 4-wheel drive car - I wasn't aware that the car we took was front wheel drive and we barely made it up the driveway!

This cabin was perfect for a quick trip to Shenandoah. Easy access to the park and a great place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Cute towns with great food and people nearby! You do need an AWD/4WD vehicle for the driveway but its not bad and our truck went right up!

We had a great stay at this property...after an initial concern on how to conquer the driveway ;) (we had been fairly warned in the listing!!) The cabin is within great proximity of the National park...where we were able to hike all day, then return to the cabin and relax under the stars in the hot tub!

Hilltop cabin is an apt description. The cabin sits on top of a hill, surrounded by trees, for lots of privacy and quiet. Everything we needed was provided in ample supply for the length of our stay. Lots of extra pillows and blankets were available and the bed was very comfortable. We don't cook our meals when we're on vacation and I wish there had been more closeby restaurants. However, we found several very good restaurants nearby in Elkton, just a few miles away. Overall, a great getaway.

My husband and I planned a quick getaway and the cabin fit our needs perfectly. Very clean and spacious. We were only 25 minutes from the Luray Caverns. Would visit again!

This property was one of the most comfortable VRBO properties I've stayed at. The rooms were nice and spacious, the living room was very accommodating and the kitchen was full of all the things necessary for a successful stay. The main bedroom's bed was unbelievably comfortable! As for outside, the main porch was very nice to sit with coffee and my book and I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting. If I am ever in the area again, I would, without question, stay here.
