Quiet Cabin on Walnut Creek, Covered Deck, Hot Tub, Swimming Hole, Shelter House

Hot tub could have been warmer, and extra paper towels would have been nice. Otherwise, the cabin was spectacular and pristine on the inside.

Quiet and peaceful location. Hosts were very friendly and check in was effortless. Would definitely stay there again!

This cabin is our favorite close to home place to get away. It's a retreat that is very peaceful and has all that is needed for a great stay. The creek is calming and the view is beautiful. Very Clean, fully stocked and great wi-fi !!

The hot tub could have stayed hotter longer. But overall wasn’t a big deal!! We had a blast!

The hosts went above and beyond to meet our wants. Was not necessary; but truly appreciated!I will say that from looking at the photos online, I didn't realize it was a two-story cabin. We stayed at a different property of theirs last year that was only one level. That one stayed warmer.. unless we clicked the wrong setting on what we thought was the heater in this cabin.. haha. It was a tad chilly; but when you go to a place with your significant other for alone time for the weekend, being cold just equals extra cuddles! Can't go wrong with that.The place was clean and check in & out were easy, along with great communication from the hosts.

Cozy cabin on a park-like setting next to a creek. Hot tub was clean and functioned properly. Kitchen had adequate supplies for cooking. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bathroom downstairs. Owners responded to questions within minutes

Quiet, peaceful, rural. Cute cabin nicely renovated. Great front porch with comfy rocking chairs. Great fire pit. Lovely creek.

It’s important for the renter to understand that all bedrooms are upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs. Also, the stairway is very open and I would be concerned about children under the age of 10 navigating them and of course people over 60.

Super cute place ! Love that it’s tucked in away from everyone , but still a close drive to get to places. Jen is super sweet and a great host. Loved everything about this home. Has everything you need to relax.

I booked this stay as a birthday gift for my daughter's 18th birthday. We had a great time. We put away all electronics and just had family time. The hot tub was broken when we arrived, but Jen and Derrick went to another property and brought us a brand new one! The swimming hole I personally couldn't get into because of my ankle problems, I cant move it. But others got down into it.They had the place clean and stocked with everything we needed!

We went down there for an event which turned out to be a little disappointing but the cabin was so cute and relaxing that it def saved our wkend from disappointment. It was a very laid back relaxing time. The hot tub and listening to nature on the porch was perfect. We would definitely go back.

My friend and I wanted a quiet peaceful girls weekend and this was absolutely perfect. The owners left thorough instructions and we had no issues and were able to relax. Would love to come back!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Love the location and the sound of the river running outside. So many plus things to this nice cabin. The campfire area was great to just sit out relax and swing. The hot tub was a great thing to sit in and relax after a long day of traveling. Jen and Derrick are awesome I had a question and she answered within a couple of minutes. My family and I will definitely be back to stay when we are in the area.

Eveything is perfect! It's a very relaxing area and we enjoyed our time very much.

This property is beautiful. We loved watching the horses in the morning in the rocking chairs. We also loved the different cooking pans and utensils available, because at pricier places they actually had less. So that was definitely a perk for us. We didn't get a chance to utilize the firepit but we did sit at the swings and it was very peaceful. 10/10 experience.

We needed a change of scenery so we spent a few days at this cabin and although we still had to be at work - it was close enough that we could go back and forth and still have time to enjoy the place quite a bit. It is in the perfect, peaceful location and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you for sharing your home - it is an ideal getaway!

We had a great stay! We felt welcomed and comfortable.

The online listing was extremely accurate. We stayed in the winter, but definitely want to come back in the summer. Beautiful, serene place. Watching the horses practice harness racing was just an added bonus.

We loved our stay here. It’s a great place to relax and hang out. It was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a bonus and enjoyed relaxing in it at the end of the day. The fire pit is great as well. We will definitely be back!

Jen and Derrick went over and beyond our expectations. Unfortunately, the second day we were there a car knocked out a power pole and they were right there PLUS brought us coffee. Great, great people. Looking forward to the next trip : )

Clean and homey cabin. Nice Spot, wonderful time by all. Great getaway, very peaceful and simple. Enjoyed the creek. Will probably go back. Country setting didn't see anyone except an occasional passing car.
