Stayed Dec 30, 2021We expected a close-to-nature experience in a cosy and calm cabin with the opportunity to relax - our expectations were exceeded. We would definitely recommend a stay!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Considering the lack of information the picture does not do the place justice. After a five hour car journey from London and arriving in the pouring rain it was an amazing place, so unique and interesting. It really is a boat house, and includes other dwellings differently styled with a lake as the central feature. We went with two boys, 4 and 9, who loved the access to the animals. So many! 10+ horses, a luma, goats, a parakeet and lots of space. Even a boat to play on. There is even bison nearby... I hope to go back one day, and would recommend it to anyone to stay if they are in the area. Also the welcome and service we received was perfect. Thank you Alexandra

Stayed Mar 3, 2017We stayed in the boathouse for one weekend and it was actually too short. The place is lovely located next to the water in the forest close to a very small town. We came here for a weekend getting away from everything and that's exaclty what we got. The house is quite basic but has all you need and when you wake up you're looking out over the water and the forest. Across the boathouse there's a small place where you can shower or take the sauna (recomended). If you like going for a walk, the surroundings offer you many trails and tracks from short to long distance. Just a lovely place if you want to get away.
