This was a lovely spot. Very clean cabin, totally private river area. We didn't see a single soul the whole time we were there. Delightful.

Clean, organized everything in placed. Nice, beautiful back yard with table and pretty trees surrounding of property. The river was too hard too find it, because of lots of bushes, but it’s worth it. Overall I recommend to everyone.

One of our favorite VRBOs ever. Delightful setting, very comfortable and welcoming house. We were there too early to swim due to the temperature, but sitting on the patio having meals and watching and listening to the river was outstanding. Certainly helps that Sequoia is now one of my favorite parks. We've been to 35 national parks, and this is top 10 for sure, maybe top 5. (Yosemite, Glacier, Yellowstone, Acadia, and Grand Canyon are hard to displace!). Host was great.

We decided to stay at this property because we loved how close it was to the National Parks and loved the idea that we had a river for our pups to play in. It exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a wonderful home with all the little details thought of. It helped with making our trip that much more memorable.

If you are going to SNP then this spot in Three Rivers is perfect. The property is wonderful, was well supplied and had a great porch. Easy drive to the park and the town has a few spots by the river that were great for all meals. Robin, the host, is wonderful to deal with and is very easy to communicate with before and during the stay. TV and WIFI were great. If you are into birds, sitting on the porch we identified around 25 birds that we had not seen in the east. Highly recommend.

We had 5 on our party and enjoyed our 3 night stay as we explored Sequoia National Park. The house was clean, well equipped. We ate at Casa Mendoza and River Bar & Grill and thoroughly enjoyed our meals at both restaurants. Robin is a very good communicator and responded to questions promptly. The personalized welcome sign was a nice touch.

The check-in process was seamless and the home was made available before the original check-in time. The kitchen was small but well equipped with the provision of lots of extras usually not available (e.g., aluminum foil, storage bags, etc). Wi-Fi access was generally good although spotty for the t-mobile users in the group. We all arrived via car and access was easy although departure was delayed due to a loss of power to the house. The electronic gate no longer worked and the only other access gate required driving over less than desirable terrain with tree overhangs having to be restrained by members of our group. All-in-all a wonderful stay in a very well appointed home.

We surprised my mom with this trip to celebrate her 60th birthday. And when we got to the property, the house exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do the house justice. The property was quiet and perfect for the weekend. We were able to hang out outside, by the river, and in the patio with no bother of other people. Our dog LOVED the river and didn’t want to leave. There’s a great fishing spot near the bridge as well. Robin was a great host and communicated well throughout our stay. The house is well equipped with everything you need at home. Even had a XL crate for our huge dog to stay in while we were away from the house exploring Sequoia, which was a plus. We had a bear visit us in the patio the first night, I named him Lawrence lol. It was also very close to downtown Three Rivers for easy access to restaurants and stores. We will always choose this house to stay at when we are in the area!

Very clean and comfortable house on the Kaweah River. The house is about 15 minutes the Sequoia Gate. The house was very nice…not a deal breaker but there is no dishwasher. It was just my husband and i but if there is a family that’s quite a bit of dishes to wash. Again, great house.

We had such a relaxing stay at the Heron Hideaway. The property has a gorgeous view and we were able to walk right up to the river. Local food spots are less than 10 minutes away. Communication with Robin was smooth leading up to and during our stay. It was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you!

When I stay on a property if I am left with wanting to own the property myself that tells you it was a great place to stay. It was clean and the design of the home was perfect for a family of 6. My one complaint would be the grounds behind the home leading to the river could use better upkeep and 2 maintained walking paths and a walking path along the river would be a welcome addition to the property. But location, and everything about the home itself was great!

We really enjoyed this property and the access to the river. The town of Three Rivers is also a fun place to hang out for a couple of days with several food options and things to see. The weather was HOT while we were there, but the AC in the cabin kept everything very cool and comfortable. We would love to stay again!
