Private, Secluded, Honeymoon Cabin, Perfect Location

The staff was very kind. The cabin was fine however shower doors were off their track and didn’t work as well they did not have some off the amenities you would expect: kettle, soap, shampoo, etc. Bed linen should be improved.

I have no complaints about the property! It was the most awesome vacation we have ever had! Secluded and exactly what the owners stated! Would recommend it for family and friends!

Stayed here for a long weekend. On the drive in, we received a text from the property owner that the jacuzzi was having an issue and the repair person may still be there when we arrived. The owner apologized profusely, but this was no big deal to us. When we arrived, the place was very clean. There were simple instructions on what to do when we left posted on the fridge. My partner and I loved sitting in the hot tub on the back, covered deck and relaxing while looking out into the trees. There is a cabin in front of this cabin, but on the back deck is very private and peaceful. There are many card games provided and some DVDs as well. This is a great place to stay if you want a private spot in the trees, but still want to be close to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be back to Turkey Feathers someday!

Some burners on stove don't work.

It was a wonderful spot. A quick weekend getaway and a perfect place to unhook and unwind. Would definitely recommend for a private getaway.

Everything was great the host was very nice and responded quickly with questions! I loved the hot tub and the bath was wonderful!! I would love to come back.

The cabin was beautiful, the decor was awesome. Our host, knowing that were stuck here because of a foot of snow. Said no charge till safe to drive out. I would recommend this cabin.

Just what my wife and hoped our stay would be. We are planning to stay again next year. Second morning there we had the experience of watching a bear in the driveway.

We have been staying at Turkey Feathers for many years ( 20 plus ) and a sometimes we need to come twice a year. We love this Cabin and its location is perfectly between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the privacy is great too. My wife and I have tried other cabins but this one is the Best especially with the location

Location was great, right between PF and Gatlinburg, and not to far up the mountain. The cabin was nice, decorated nicely. Bathroom and kitchen were clean. The mattress is horrible, big lump in the middle. Bedding was very cheap. Bathroom towels were very cheap. The couch and one chair in the living room were very old and very uncomfortable. The hot tub worked great. The metal chairs on the back deck were also very uncomfortable with no back support. We went there for our honeymoon, it was very unwelcoming for a week long honeymoon.

Pros: Great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The private back porch and hot tub are amazing—perfect for watching the sunrise. The jacuzzi tub is a nice bonus. Beautiful, secluded views from the porch and game room—we even saw a turkey put on a feather display. The bedroom is spacious with good storage. AC worked great despite the heat. Bathroom was solid, and the washer/dryer was super convenient. Fridge and kitchen storage were ample.Cons & Suggestions: Shower head needs replacing—it stings and has stray streams. Couch has no padding left and is uncomfortable, and the corner chair isn’t suitable for relaxing. Bed has sunken spots that make sleeping awkward; I felt like I might roll off. Consider updating the knife set and adding a real dinette set (silverware, bowls, etc.). At check-in, there was a bad smell in the game room that lingered all week and kept my wife from enjoying the pool table with me. We also found a torn condom wrapper on the back porch, which was a disappointing start.All in all, we enjoyed the stay, and with a few tweaks would love to make it a regular!

Overall clean but a few things need a little attention.

The cabin was exactly what we expected. Perfect location 3 mi to Pigeon Forge, 4 mi to Gaitlinburg and 5 mi to Sugarland Visitor Center. The cabin was in the mountains with a steep driveway but only a mile or so off main parkway yet no road noise when outside completely quiet and serene. We would stay here again!

Honestly the Best place to stay and it’s the only place we stay in the Smokey Mountains and this is our 22 nd straight year. My wife and I just celebrated our 45th anniversary and only twice was it not celebrated at Turkey Feathers ( my fault not booking it ) and the 2 times we didn’t stay here was not even close to being so amazing. The view and privacy and even the convenience being between Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg is also a plus.

The location is perfect! Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg are about 10 minutes away. You are in a lovely secluded spot & our pup Loved the windows in the pool table room. Highly recommend!!

It was such a beautiful drive up to the cabin and nestled in the woods. The inside was amazing and had everything you need plus extras. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub at night. Definitely will be staying there again

Cabin was better than pictures online. Super clean and adorable. Everything you needed for a perfect stay. Easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. Will definitely be staying here again.

This was a great place to wind down in after a day in the park or Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg and the outer perimeter of the park is less than 15 minutes away (during low traffic). The cabin is perfectly sized for 2 people. The kitchen is stocked with enough utensils for simple meals but you will need to bring ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS. We did not use the kitchen that much except for some salads, frozen pizzas, and coffee. The 2 fireplaces were nice and the rear deck hot tub was completely private with a nice forest to look at and listen to while you relaxed. The hot tub was very easy to use. If I go back to Gatlinburg again I will keep Turkey Feathers at the top of my list for places to stay.

This place is great! Secluded, hot tub, pool table, clean, well stocked kitchen, and conveniently located. We enjoyed our weekend here and plan to return in the future!
