Private Mountain Lodge - Game Room, Firepit and 16 Acres to Roam

Everything was perfect here .. The owner had everything written out to a T for directions on TVs, Games , appliances and check out .. The cabin/house could not have been more perfect and the landscape was too .. The owner was a sweetheart ! Def plan on going back !! Our weekend for my family to celebrate my Daddys 86th birthday could not have any better ..

This place was super comfortable and well stocked (the kitchen was stocked the best that I have seen in all of our vacation rentals.) The view was awesome (front and back). If you are looking for a place to get away from it all with peace and quiet - this is it. The back patio windows allow you to have a tremendous view while inside. We also loved the game room and it being on the same floor as the rest of the house was a plus! Loved this place!

Beautiful property! The 5 of us really had a great weekend there. The fire pit is a great size and perfect design and worked better than numerous others we’ve used over the years. The pool table was used for many games. Normally cabin pool tables and cues are in unplayable condition from our experience, but thankfully that was not the case here. Furniture was high quality and very comfortable. The master bed was comfortable and I didn’t hear any complaints about the others. Loved the views and we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets.

It's a very comfortable cabin and has a beautiful sunset. I recommend it.

We had an amazing stay at this hilltop house! The 360 views were absolutely breathtaking and made every moment special. The host’s communication was excellent; very responsive, clear, and helpful from start to finish.The house was perfect for both kids and adults, with plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. There were also lots of comfortable sitting areas, both inside the house and around the property, which made it easy to relax, enjoy the views, and spend quality time together.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a perfect place for families or groups. I would highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

Everything was great. Did not have any issues until the end with one of the sofa beds. The host was very understanding and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to have a good quiet evening with family. I have to say it was a memorable thanksgiving for my family and I. Thank you.

This is hands down my favorite cabin in the world! I’ve stayed at dozens and dozens around the country and this is the best. The best views. The best host. The best living area. The best game room. The best, period. It’s as private as you can get because it’s at the end of a long dirt road with nothing beyond! They host have upgrades the WiFi and it’s nice and fast. The master suite is large. The other two bedrooms are smaller but comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need. But the best part is the view. From east to west the view is expansive and beautiful. The deck is beautiful and in inviting. You feel like you’re on top of the world!!!I will be back!!!!

Spectacular space! The home is very well appointed, a stocked kitchen, a game room with books, games and movies to entertain. We spent most of our time in the deck, soaking in the stunning views and enjoying the quiet sounds of nature. We live in a big city so to see stars at night that bright and beautiful is such a treat. This is The Place for a natural getaway. Highly recommend!

I truly enjoyed my stay! The mountain view was absolutely breathtaking. My one-year-old daughter also had a wonderful time. I can’t wait to return in the fall to experience the beautiful colors all over again

Make sure to use GOOGLE maps!! The place was amazing. Kitchen FULLY stocked with everything you could ever think of, and plenty of it. I am very particular about bedding and comforters and pillows and they were SO comfortable. Plenty of pillows AND plenty of extra blankets! Cannot WAIT to bring all the kids next time. So many places to wander and explore and so many hikes you can drive to. I wanted extremely remote with views and this was absolutely perfection!

This was our yearly veterans group meet-up. This is our third year staying at Mountain Stone Lodge because I surveyed the guys each year to see if they enjoyed the site. They want to come back to the same site next year.

We really enjoyed all the property had to offer. From my 6 y/o to my 27 y/o we had the right mix of both entertainment and quiet. Close to all the activities we wanted, hiking and fishing, without the crowds of Beaver's Bend. Super property. Will come back.

My husband and two boys (12 and 14) loved this house! The views were great and the fogin the mornings was pretty cool, too. It was too cold/rainy to be outside but we had plenty of space to spread out inside between the game room, living room and bedrooms. Definitely coming back!

This was my second time experiencing this beautiful home. I visited with 3 good friends back in 2022 & was able to experience it this time around with family of 5. It fit our first family holiday experience to great success.Everything was as described & great customer support. Looking forward to book again in the near future.

This property is everything advertised and more. The home sits on top of a mountain with wonderful views. It is quiet - no street traffic or noise from nearby homes. We were able to see so many stars because there were no lights from other homes or passing vehicles. It is really a beautiful place. The home itself has a unique layout that works well. Everything you need is available. We were fogged in one day and the owners provided plenty of options to entertain us indoors. The next day when the weather improved, we were able to appreciate the outdoor seating and trails. The owners have done a great job of providing for every need. It was a great stay - would definitely recommend it to others!

This was an absolutely beautiful house with lots to do for the kids and adults alike. The view from the deck was incredible.

The vacation rental is super comfortable and has amazing views. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset right from family room. The rental is equipped with everything you may ever need. The communication with the host was great and received immediate response . We also spent a lot of time in game room and playing pool. That was a big plus. Overall amazing stay with excellent t cabin and great views.

The house has the best location, on top of the hill with gorgeous views of the national forest. The weather did not cooperate this time, with fog and rain most of the weekend, but we had a good time in the game room and cooked excellent meals on the kitchen, which has everything you need.

3rd time to stay . Her house is always decorated wonderful . She has made it feel homey. She has EVERYTHING you need to have a great getaway ! You name it, it’s there . Anywhere from tea strainer for your teas to games for every age .. She is always there to answer texts or calls .. I texted her to ask about something .. she was out of town and still answered my question. You can never go wrong renting this place !!

We had a wonderful stay. The is large, clean, and has a beautiful deck. The area is great. When we arrived we were welcomed by an armadillo in the front yard and the next morning a flock of deer. The living room and deck provided a view a great view as far as the eye could see. The owner went over and above for us. We lost power for a short time and they provided for our dinner at the Three Rivers Meat Company. A must stop when you visit. The owners worked with the power company to quickly have the power restored. I would recommend this property to anyone who needs to escape the city and enjoy the beauty of nature. They also have games galore, reading material, and a pool table. Enough to keep everyone entertained and relaxed.

This is a beautiful property with stunning views. The home had all of the amenities we needed for our week long family vacation including everything we needed to cook family breakfast and dinners each day. The house was very clean and we had a blast enjoying the game room.

Spent the weekend with my girlfriends and had such a great time! The cabin is so comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. The whole cabin was decorated so cute, and the view was amazing. Check-in and communication with the owner was so easy. We highly recommend it and would definitely come back.

We have planned the vacation with two other families a couple of months ago. We were lucky to have booked with Becky. Their cabin is phenomenal. It not only has perfect view on the mountain top but also has tons of activities in the house. We were able to play pool, board games and watch DVDs. We were also be able to connect our game Nintendo switch and karaoke speakers to the TV. In terms of eating, we cooked in the full kitchen with all the cookware we need. We also set up camp fire in the backyard fire pit. After all, we had great time staying there and would consider coming back again!

Enjoyed the property and the overall renting experience in every way! Highly recommended for solitude on a mountaintop.
