Private Mountain Chalet-Fenced in Yard for Pets!

Clean and convenient to everything. This is my second time staying ! Above and Beyond Expectations . Property and Views are Breathtaking.

We were in town for a wedding and this chalet was very comfortable and nice for our stay. It felt like we were well off the beaten path, but were actually quite convenient to Brevard. The house was clean and very family friendly and Jenna was an excellent host. She was communicative and extremely helpful with suggestions for food and activities!

Our host was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect (one grandmother and three granddaughters). We even saw a white squirrel in the neighborhood!

Great cabin for a weekend getaway. My family stayed over Thanksgiving this year and we had fun. My only issue was the mattresses are very firm and not comfortable for me personally. We did see the elusive white squirrel while we were there.

House was very clean and accurate to the images. The host were so helpful and responsive during the whole stay. Definitely want to come back again!

The space was open design with plenty of room; first floor living area, kitchen, master BR and bathroom. Upstairs has two good sized bedrooms and downstairs is one large family room that can sleep an additional two to three guests. The outdoor porch was enjoyable during Miller time. We don't have a pet, but the backyard has a fenced in area for pets. Communications with the host was via e-mail and was very responsive and friendly.

Awesome Home. Owner was great. We will definitely stay here again.

This property was simply amazing! The property manager was quick to reply with any questions we had. I would rate our stay 100/10 if I could! We will definitely be back for another stay.

Check in was easy. We really appreciated the kitchen- it was well equipped. We cooked quite a bit.

Beautiful property! Conveniently located to Brevard, but felt rural. Lovely views out of the picture windows!

Enjoyed our stay here! Very peaceful and relaxing. Also enjoyed visiting downtown Brevard with its shops and restaurants. We even took in a couple waterfall visits and spotted a white squirrel!

This was a good stay in a nice modern cabin. The house and surrounding property was clean and inviting. The window ac units worked very hard, but due to it being late June, it was still on the warm side indoors (for us). If we were to return, we’d come stay at a cooler time of the year.

The place is at the end of a gravel road. So dark and quiet. It was a lovely hideaway! At the same time it was just a 10 min drive from Brevard. We went to a great restaurant (can't remember the name but it was recommended by the host) and walked around the cute downtown adn did some shopping. The hosts were so kind. We had trouble getting on the internet becuase we put the password in wrong. They came to check it right away and my 80 year old mom was there by herself. They even gave her their Amazon Prime account so she would watch her show while the rest of us were out hiking.

This is the perfect place for a weekend stay! The property is modern, clean, and exactly as described in the listing. The homeowners obviously take a great deal of pride in the property and it shows in the details. The recommendations for food and activities were spot-on for what we were looking to do and experience and, even though we know the area well, we explored new-to-us places because of those home owner recommendations! We would definitely look to stay again when visiting the area in the future.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, and clean. Close to the bike paths, and of course the pisgah forest. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the city for a few days.

This was our second visit to the Blue Door Chalet. Just an awesome place to stay. Very open floor plan. Great fenced in yard for the pups. Both times we stayed there the place was exceptionally clean. Definitely will come back again.

The house was great and we loved visiting Brevard during the day which was an easy car ride away. Communication with the owner was wonderful. She really helped put my mind to ease during some nearby fires. We are so grateful we left during rain and hope those fires are contained soon. See you soon WNC!

This was a great place for the kids to run, play and explore.

This private chalet was everything we needed this long weekend. Pictures were accurate. Perfect for our three fur babies and our family of four. The fenced backyard was great for our dogs to play and enjoy the stay as much as we did. Private home but not far away from downtown brevard, shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was 8-10 mins away. The host has a binder with useful information on local favorites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My family and I tried all the local favorites and they were great! Kitchen was well equipped. Fire pit was perfect. Enough towels and blankets. Board games. The property was clean and our check in was smooth. We arrived very late at night and Jenna made sure she left the outside porch lights on for us. Throughout our stay Jenna was quick to respond. We checked out this morning and that was also very easy. Would definitely book again!

Comfortable home and location convenient to all that Brevard has to offer. It was so nice to bring our pup along on our adventures.Would definitely like to come back in the future!
