Private Mountain Cabin With Loft/Hot Tub/Stream and pet friendly

Beautiful property! Like the description says its a small house, but don't let that scare you off. Its a cute, clean cabin on a gorgeous and quiet spot. Its also a short trip into town, about 5 minutes (maybe 10 depending on your luck with traffic/lights) to Lake Junaluska. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pans, we had an abundance of towels, and the king sized bed was so comfy! I think its the only time my husband and I agreed about a mattress. We had three people (2 adults and a teenager) and loved our stay, we'd absolutely stay here again. My only recommendation would be to bring a flashlight for nighttime bathroom breaks if your dog is like mine and needs to sniff around for the perfect potty spot. There are porch lights, but the flashlight helped.

Second stay here at Howell’s at The Moon Farm…we absolutely love this cabin, and the area. A short drive to Waynesville and the Maggie Valley/Cherokee area but you feel like you’re secluded by the creek at 3,000 feet. Hot tub is clean and always a PLUS!

There were a lot of nice little touches to the cabin that made the stay wonderful. Beautiful and private cabin.

Loved the Family Cabin! It had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing visit! King size bed, hot tub, and fresh eggs from the chickens.

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at this cabin for our honeymoon! The host was incredibly kind and welcoming—she surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a candle, which made our stay feel extra special. She even made sure the hot tub was already running when we arrived so we could enjoy it right away. The cabin was spotless and absolutely perfect for our stay. The property itself is beautiful, and there was so much to do in the surrounding area. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special time and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend!

Very clean, comfortable bed and quiet! We spent Thanksgiving there, the kitchen had everything we needed and we loved being able to take our 2 dogs with us! Location is close to dining and grocery stores.

We loved the place. I think we spent most of our stay around the fire pit. We found a place close by that gave out free firewood. I loved the hot tub and the wooded area. Can't wait to come back. Thank you for everything.

Quiet and beautiful! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

It was perfect for what we wanted out of a mountain stay. The hot tub was relaxing. We grilled and had bon fires. This cabin had all the amenities we needed and then some. We would book here again.

Great spot. Loved sitting in the Jacuzzi and watching the fire in the fire pit. Small but perfect size for two people and our dogs. Loved that you had the gates for the porch so dogs could enjoy being outside with us. Thank you.

This cabin was less than two miles from Publix grocery store but you felt like you were in the woods away from everything.So quiet and relaxing

Exactly what I needed, some peace and quiet, with a very comfy bed! The check in process was very easy and just as described. It's an adorable cabin. When you have become accustomed to noise pollution, the stillness and quiet outside are remarkable. Fresh eggs for breakfast was an unexpected perk! I was there for a conference at Lake Junaluska, and this was the perfect little hideaway to come back to. Thank you!

This cabin is lovely and on a beautiful property. It is a nice private cabin but close to all amenities. We especially enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chicks!

This was the absolute most relaxing birthday I’ve had in 52 years! The cabin was very clean and cozy. The bed was sooo comfy I could’ve slept longer but I was excited to wake up to the hot tub and beautiful mountains! We were up from SC and the air was so much nicer in WNC! Waynesville was a great little town with great places to eat. My husband loved the beer and wings at The Boojum Brewery. We’re planning our next stay here at the farm for the fall season very soon!

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying here and we love it every time. It is a tiny cabin so make sure if this is your first time looking at this cabin that you read all the information, however dont let the little things keep you from staying here. It is our favorite place to stay at ever and we never want to leave when we stay there. Judy is very good with communicating and making the little special touches even more memorable. We always look forward to our next stay!

Cabin was private. Hot tub and fire pit were awesome.

My son and I plus our pup had a wonderful stay.The listing was exactly as it said it was & loved all the little personal touches they left us a dozen fresh eggs from the chickens on the property which were so good & left detailed info on places to see & do.Thank you again for letting us stay with our pup,it was our first trip traveling & hiking with her and she loved it there .

I surprised my husband with a weekend trip and it was perfect!! This was our second time staying at this cabin but it won’t be our last. Everything about this location is perfect for us. I highly recommend this property. It’s our happy place 🙂

The cabin is exactly as it is listed. I see some posting about the size. It is small. But that is clear in the listing. Don't take stars from the owners because you can't read. It was perfect. The location was amazing. It's a 10 out of 10. We will be back. Thank you for an amazing get away. The turkeys were a special treat.

Lovely weekend getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and hated leaving! Drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings just watching nature was amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub too!

This property is really cute and we enjoyed the fresh eggs! It was a little small (which it does say in the description) and we had some trouble finding spots for our suitcases and other paraphernalia. It was conveniently located and we didn't need a 4-wheel drive like so many properties in the area.

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It’s perfect for a small family, and it is pet friendly. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful creek.
