Private La Pine Cabin Rental: 30 Mi to Bend!

This cabin is absolutely the cutest. I love the personal note stating that its been in the family for years. Please enjoy and make lasting memories. The bed is very comfortable. It is so peaceful. The barn doors with the deer antlers and a cabin feel. I came here to have Thanksgiving at my brothers home. This was a perfect distance to have peace from the craziness of turkey day. I was blessed to have both my elderly parent on this day. I cant thank the host enough for allowing me to stay at his cabin.

Cute little cabin 10 min from downtown LaPine. Perfect set up for a base camp. House is clean and has all the basic things you need for a home away from home. No wifi but the cell service was full bars. Also it was hot hot hot but the cabin stays nice and cool. I'd stay again.

Very quiet and simple . Loved it all

Overall: This was a great little cabin to stay in and we will happily stay here again. It was a large size for a 1 bedroom with a very smart layout. Pleanty of space to park and no issues with the neighborhood. Check in process was easy with a door code. It had everything we could hope for. There is good phone signal so the lack of wifi was not an issue at all. There was a DVD player and large DVD collection. The TV is a newer smart TV and we were even successful in streaming a couple of movies with mobile hotspot. We stayed here for 9 nights and hands down prefer it to the local hotels.Now for the negatives: 1 - the bedding and towels were very unpleasant smelling - unbearabe mildew smell. Thankfully, the store nearby carries laundry detergent and vinegar (removes mildew smell) and the place had a washer/dryer, so a fairly easy fix (small washing machine so it did take 4 loads).2- The bed was very uncomfortable as it sagged pretty bad. Either the mattress needs to be replaced or there needs to be a better support under the mattress.

This little cabin is a treasure. It's so cozy and comfortable and really well appointed with a Caribou theme nodding to the road it's located on. It is super clean and the kitchen is well equipped for creating whatever level cooking you want to do. The enormous bed is super comfortable. The main room has 2 comfy couches and a vast library of DVD movies. Overall, this is a really nice place for a quiet, restful rustic getaway.

Had business to attend to in the area. This offered what we needed to work some and be comfortable . No internet but hot spotting your phone allows you to get emails and other things done. No TV but a nice library of DVDs to watch. It is an older cabin and hasn't been updated for years (if that's important to you).

First the front door would lock except from the inside. So we had to take anything of value with us every time we left. And the bed smelled a bit like urine, luckily we always bring sleeping bags just in case of something like this.

We enjoyed our stay, house was perfect size for two adults. Location was great for fishing cascade lakes. Close to town but also had the feel of being in the county.
