Private Indoor Pool! Sauna-Hot Tub-Amazing Views!

The cabin was amazing! Everything was described accurately & was very clean! We had groceries delivered from Krogers which made the experience even better. Our kids loved the private pool!

My wife and I just finished a wonderful, and relaxing stay at Soakin in the Smokies (05/28-06/01/2016). Absolutely beautiful, relaxing, fun, enjoyable, and easy in and out. The cabin is exactly as the photos show on their web site and the VRBO site. We used the WAZE App, and it took us straight to the cabin. The cabin has really great views of the mountains and the valley. All the furniture inside and out was nice and comfortable. The king size bed was very nice and comfortable with us sleeping great every night. My wife recently had jiffy Knee replacement surgery, so we specifically choose a cabin with a pool to help her range of motion exercises. It along with the hot tub, and sauna were wonderful and very helpful. The arcade was also very nice and everything worked perfectly. All contact before, during, and after was responded to almost immediately by Ali, just wonderful. Everything to Pigeon Forge, from the cabin is 20-35 minutes, Gatlinburg another 15 minutes. Very convenient to everything. If you are wondering about bears, Sunday afternoon about 2:30 PM, as we drove up to the cabin a large black bear meandered out of the woods to check our trash bin and then over to the neighbors' trash bin, into their backyard, and back into the woods. There is absolutely nothing I could complain, or fuss about even if I tried. We loved our long weekend at Soaking in the Smokies and you will too! We would definitely stay her again on another trip to the mountains.

The Cabin was so relaxing and perfectly named…Soakin in the Smokies. Everything is clean and uncluttered. We stayed a week and hiked everyday, and came home to work out all the kinks in the pool, hot tub and sauna. They really helped to recover for the next day’s adventure. The Cabin is up there! The drive is surprisingly high, but the views are worth it! Morning and evening views with soft sunsets and clouds settled in the valleys. It was a great stay!

Just lovely. Amazing view. Clean and well stocked cabin. The pool was large and very warm, the sauna was perfect and the hot tub was nice and hot. Owner was very communicative and friendly. Would definitely sta again. We loved it!

Everything about our stay at Soakin’ in the Smokies was excellent. Although it was just me and my husband, the home is also perfect for a family or group of friends. It’s tucked away in the foothills of the Smokies, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful for our visit. The cabin is in-between Pigeon Forge and Townsend, off of Wears Valley Rd. with both towns having very different vibes. Another advantage of the cabin’s location is that it’s close to a lesser known entrance to the National Park, Metcalf Bottoms. This entrance can get you into the park faster than the Gatlinburg entrance as it can get very congested there. It’s also wonderful to not go anywhere and just Soak in the Smokies.And just a heads up on the possibility of seeing stink bugs or lady bugs. I had seen a previous review of somebody complaining about it, but as someone who lives about 30 miles from here, there really isn’t much that can be done about them. Pest management for these insects is virtually impossible despite best efforts. Thankfully, they are harmless though, and are not in East TN year round. With all the rentals in the area, it’s hard to stand out. But Soakin’ in the Smokies does, and you’d be hard pressed to find anything better. If it’s available to book, consider yourself lucky and don’t pass it by. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Beautiful cabin with great views. Loved the Christmas decorations. The sauna, pool, and hot tub are a great to relax and recharge. Ali was great and very easy to contact when I had questions.

This made me rate my lake view, but it was a Mountain View, no lake… but the indoor heated pool was wonderful. The temperature was just right and we enjoyed it! As for the Mountain View, it was breathtaking. We had a great stay! The house and the owner were the best! I would absolutely recommend this property!

We loved our stay here. We were close enough to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to enjoy the activity and entertainment, but it was nice to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet in the cabin. The views from the deck were stunning, and we loved having the indoor pool. My kids wanted to swim all day, and I felt comfortable knowing there was an alarm having small children. The property was clean and check in was easy. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Kitchen was well stocked with basics like olive oil and spices. I wasn't missing any of the usual kitchen utensils. Checkin was easy and the hosts were always communicative. Neighbors nearby were quiet and very friendly. We loved the novelty of a pool, the views were beautiful, and overall looked forward to returning to the cabin each day. The house felt so clean and the spacing was wonderful.

Property manager was very helpful and answered messages right away.

We had a wonderful stay here with our dogs! the view was beautiful, great location and it had everything we needed! We even had a mama bear and her 3 cubs in the backyard almost every night which was so fun to watch from the deck! We will definitely stay here again when we come back! Our family really enjoyed the private pool (with TV!) and hot tub! The view was gorgeous too! My son loved having his own room on the lower floor. The master bedroom was beautiful. My daughter had her pick of 3 couches! There was plenty of room. The deck was the best spot to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed. Not far from 3 great areas of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Townsend. Will be back!

The location of this property was amazing - beautiful views with lots of outdoor space. The owners were extremely responsive and friendly. The space was very clean and well stocked. The sauna, pool and hot tub were amazing additions after hiking days. The only thing that was unexpected was that I thought there were 3 bedrooms and wasn't expecting the additional bedroom to be in the basement.

The host was amazing to communicate with if anything popped up & any questions we had from check in to check out. The only item we didn’t rank a “5” was cleanliness due to the amount of ladybugs which it clearly states in the bio on their VRBO page (it was just that time of year for our visit). Beautiful property with everything we needed for our family of 5 & our dog.

Such a great property, even better than the pictures! Pool was great and house was very clean and well kept. ONLY negative was that the hot tub cover made opening and closing the hot tub very difficult. Perfect family getaway!

Really nothing could’ve been better. And it has absolutely everything you could want in a vacation home. The sauna, pool and hot tub were clean and temps were just right. It was quiet. The bed was comfy. The furniture was in good shape and cozy. Plenty of warm blankets to snug in by the fire. The kitchen was well supplied. The views were great. The check in was seamless. The hosts were available. Can’t think of anything I would change. We’ve had a stressful year and this get away was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.
