Private Hot Tub Cabin Higgins Lake-Fire Pit-Pet Friendly-Walk to Beach

We took a rustic retreat to the family- budget- and pet-friendly Funky Frog Cabin up north this weekend. Quality time ✔ It was really cozy without feeling cramped. The owners have really put a lot of time and love into this property. Excellent host communication. Superb attention to detail and accommodating our needs.

We liked the fenced in yard for the dog. The loft was good for the kids. Amenities for the house were handy. We all did not like the NOISY air conditioner and having the fan buzzing all the time.

House was comfy , cozy and clean. Denise puts forth extra effort to ensure all the guests needs are met and even has an emergency backup cabinet in the event you forget a necessity like deodorant or toothpaste. The hot tub was amazing. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Had a wonderful fall weekend here! The place was so cozy inside! We loved sitting in the hot tub with the outside temperature so cold or just around the fire talking! The host was amazing This was probably my first rental with such an array of complimentary items! The bathroom was stocked with anything you could have forgotten and more(thankfully because I did forget something!) The coffee/k-cup/tea setup was great and loved the honey sticks!

It was very clean, hot tub was nice. Two fit very nice in there. I don’t know if you could put more, but it was very nice.

Just went for a quick weekend to visit friends and although we didn’t take advantage of all the cool things the property had (hot tub/fire pit), it was everything as described. Well appointed, clean with fun decor. All in all a cute place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Access to the lake was seamless and we took advantage of the games (inside and outside). A great time it was!

Our stay was accommodating to our needs, the host was attentive (great communication) and what a cute cabin! The location was a 10 out of 10. Our family will definitely be booking this place again!

This is an amazing find. Cottage was perfect for my family of 6 and our one fur baby. The Hot tub, firepit along with the yard games made for memorable moments. The lake was a very short walk and we enjoyed the Sunrises and Sunsets

Cute cabin and very close to higgins lake.. and hot tub was a plus!

This property was so cute! Perfect for 5 of us that did come. She was kind enough to allow 3 dogs and there was plenty of room. Will be back!

This adorable small but mighty cottage just steps away from the lake was just what we wanted and needed to relax, recharge and and just enjour the little things nature has to offer!

Funky frog was amazing and so was Denise. Accommodating and responsive. She made sure we had everything we needed.

The Funky Frog and property owner Denise were absolutely amazing. The cabin had everything we needed and more; we’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and this one literally had everything from scissors and fans to firewood. Denise was quick with responding with any questions or concerns we had and well wishes for our 10 yr wedding anniversary! ??

One of the nicest cabins we've stayed in. Can tell the owners put a lot of love into the cabin and made sure it was comfortable for kids and pets. Will definitely book it again next time we're in Higgins.
