Private Heated Indoor Pool/Theater/2 Game Rms/Views/Close to Everything!

The cleanness was not comfortable. Wish it was ready in site as it set the tone for the rest of the trip and it always felt uncomfortable for the duration despite cleaning afterwards.

This cabin is ideal! The location is perfect for those who want to enjoy a great view of the Smoky Mountains! Each of the 3 balconies give a little different perspective of the mountains and we were able to take many beautiful photos! It is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides. The cabin itself is beautiful and well cared for, with very tasteful decorations. It is very conducive to having family gatherings and meals together. The owners were responsive to all of our questions, and expressed their value that we have a really nice stay. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and pans, dishes, utensils, bowls, and baking sheets. Our 3 grandchildren (ages 5, almost 8, and 11) thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool—so much so, we didn’t need to go to the community pool. Parking is excellent (many cabins have difficult parking situations. The location is close to Dollywood, Country Splash, and Pigeon Forge. It is away from the craziness of the Pigeon Forge strip and is near the National Park and Grotto Falls!This place is a very clean gem!

We treated our kids and grandkids to a family vacation and couldn’t have picked a better cabin for all of us. The views were incredible. We were also able to watch a bear wander around on the hill under the deck. We enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, the game tables and theatre room. Everything was very nice. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful home and view!

Everything was great! The kitchen had everything you’d need if you wanted to cook. The theater, game room, & pool kept the kids busy as well. It was spacious & each room has its own private bathroom which is really nice.

We had a great time at Splashin’ Retreat! We spent a lot of time on the deck in the rocking chairs enjoying the views. The grandkids loved all of the games and the pool. The proximity to Pigeon Forge made it quick and easy to get into town to enjoy all the attractions there. Would highly recommend Splashin’ Retreat!

We came up with our children and grandchildren for a week at Spring Break. The cabin was wonderful. Plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen was well stocked. They also had 2 baby gates so we could close off the stairs for the little ones. A life saver for us. Would definitely rent again from Gail

This cabin is a total blast! The kids had an amazing time in the pool and watching movies in the awesome theater room. The owners of the property were extremely nice and accommodating. The view from the main room is incredible.

We have been coming to Gatlinburg since the 60's and we have never stayed on this side of Gatlinburg, but decided to give it a try. We usually stay on the mountain near Ober or in the mountains off the East Parkway and 321. This cabin is close to just about everything and avoids the traffic. It was so much easier to get to Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley, Gatlinburg, and the park itself. Our hosts were very responsive and all instructions were clear. The cabin has an awesome theater room. It features a game room on the top floor with a pool table and arcade. The bottom floor has the indoor pool, hot tub, home theater, and another game room with air hockey, foosball, and a wet bar. The home has a washer and dryer. The decks all have comfortable quality rocking chairs. So many homes have cheap outdoor furniture which makes me crazy as I enjoy a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at sunset and do not want to sit on bad furniture. The view is beautiful throughout the home. Every room had televisions which were easy to stream. The kitchen was well stocked with an actual decent pantry! The refrigerator was also large. The dining table is huge and enables your family to sit and enjoy each other while others cook or watch television. All furniture and beds were comfortable. All bathrooms were large with ample counter space. Parking was no problem and access to the cabin was very easy. I would recommend this house to any family coming to town! Much easier going between attractions!

The host was wonderful. She was quick to respond to texts and the cabin was amazing! Definitely planning another trip back.

The cabin was just perfect for our family vacation. The view was spectacular and we even saw a bear from the balcony our first night. We enjoyed the game rooms and the theater room every evening. But what stood out the most was the attentive communication with our host. Gail & Rob were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely will be back.

This place was hands down so beautiful and cozy. We were a combination of two families totaling 4 adults and 5 kids. This cabin was perfect and the view was incredible and something to remember. We took a 14 1/2 hour drive from Texas to Tennessee and we were not disappointed. The Host (Robert/Gail) were very nice and communicated with us every step of the way. Their response times were also speedy when any questions arose. The cabin was immaculate and the kids loved all of the entertainment especially the theater room, swimming pool and the ping pong conversion table. I have no complaints, only compliments. If you book this property, you won’t be disappointed. Fantastic mountain home!

Amazing veiws and amenities. 15mins away from the strip. Our kids loved the pool and the theater room.

This house was perfect for families traveling together. The kids had a blast in the pool. The views were beautiful. The owner was so kind and responsive. I highly recommend this house!

Absolutely loved this home! The two game rooms, the swimming pool, the theatre…the VIEWS. The only minor complaint is the pillows may have been too used and need replacement…esp in the adult bedrooms.

My family and I have stayed at many cabins in the area and I must say Sherwood Splashin Retreat was by far our favorite. Location, cleanliness, amnesties and last but not least the communication with our host Gail was the best. We look forward to returning to our favorite cabin for years to come.

We had the most wonderful stay in the mountains with daily sightings of Bears, sometimes twice at this beautiful property. The property was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. We stayed with our 3 children along with a brother and SIL. We all had plenty of room to stretch out with ease of coming together to enjoy family time. The location was great; it was close to the Parkway but felt like a million miles away in this community. The views were beautiful; the pool, hot tub and theater was an added bonus. The kids never wanted to leave the cabin. The community pool was also a crowd favorite. We visited daily and it never felt crowded, but with just enough people to chat with if you wanted to. Our bedrooms were comfy and cozy and the kids adored their bunkroom. The bathrooms were clean and the shower was big and easier to use for maybe an older person. I loved the larger bed-sized bunk for my 3 year old. I didn't worry about him falling out. Gail was easy to communicate with about everything. So glad we stayed here. It was definitely one of the easiest most relaxing and fun trips that we have had. Also, we recommend the Ole Mill and Five Oaks to eat at; they were delicious Also,don't forget your moonshine sampling, so yummy and a perfect beverage to sip on the porch! We also had the kids complete their Junior Ranger badge at The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, a great little adventure if you have kids. We loved our Tennessee adventure!

We had a perfect getaway during our stay in this cabin! It was just what everyone needed to recharge. The views are breath taking. It was the perfect mixture of relaxation, fun and the best way to make memories for us all. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. It was spotless and so cozy. Our host Gail made sure we felt welcome and that she was available for any questions or concerns. On this trip we had my elderly parents who enjoyed their stay tremendously- they had the master suite that was on the first floor where they felt comfortable and safe. Our teenagers had the upstairs with so many bed options and were close to the pool table and gaming system that they used every single day. The swimming pool and hot tub was amazing for us all! The theatre room added excitment to our stay as eveyone was able to pick a movie to make the week complete. We look forward to staying here again as it was the perfect situation for all ages!

Perfect for us, great views of Mt laconte from decks. And u can be in pigeon forge in 10 minutes.

This cabins location was tricky to find as the GPS could not locate the correct address but once we got inside it was absolutely spectacular! We enjoyed the game rooms theater room and indoor pool the most. As it was over 90 moat of our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with almost everything you need to whip up breakfast or a five course meal. Bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds. The views were amazing as well and we even had a visit from a bear! Would definitely recommend staying here!

My wife and I choose the Pidgeon Forge area for our yearly family vacation. 9 folks - 6 adults and 3 children (6/8/11). We wanted to rent a cabin and as such, reviewed many that were listed on VRBO. We choose Sherwood’s Splashin’ Retreat, and turns out, was a fantastic decision. What initially stood out about this property (besides the basics - plenty of room) was the indoor pool and the home theater. Was a bit warm in the pool room, but the kids could have cared less. It was their first stop after returning from our day’s activity. Wasn’t very big, but again was perfect for the kids. As far as the bedrooms, we had 3 suites and a bedroom with bunk beds. One of the upstairs suites had it’s own private deck. Views from the 2 upper decks were awesome. The lower deck view somewhat obscured by trees. Beds and furniture very comfortable. Actually had 2 game rooms, but we never used them. In eve, we pretty much sat on the deck and enjoyed the view. Kitchen well stocked. Impressed that there were 3 methods to make coffee- French press, drip, and Keurig. Kids loved the home theater. Watched a movie (or at least part of a movie each eve). We did have a few problems early in our visit, but Gail was very responsive in attending to these issues. Overall, the cabin was totally awesome.

Property was as advertised! Loved all the kitchen supplies! Minor issue with hot tub but it was resolved fairly quickly!

This cabin was exceptional, from the views, pool, hot tub, theater room, and the open view in the living room. We also experienced some furry new vistors, 3 days of the 5 days we stayed. My birthday trip was definitely a birthday i will never forget.

Our stay at this gorgeous Pigeon Forge home was absolutely perfect! We vacationed with another family (4 adults and 5 kids ages 5-11 total) and everyone had the best time. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the pool - they spent several hours swimming each day and couldn't get enough!The Smoky Mountain views were beautiful, especially during morning coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine. The location couldn't have been more convenient - we easily accessed everything we wanted to do in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg without long drives.Gail and Rob were exceptional hosts - so kind, hospitable, and readily available for any questions we had throughout our stay. Their attention to detail made us feel right at home.The house itself is stunning with tons of room for everyone. The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed room - it was an instant hit! Having an en-suite bathroom in every bedroom was such a plus for our multi-family stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals together.We enjoyed the many games and activities provided in the house for entertainment. And the wildlife viewing was incredible - we even saw bears during our stay!We're so happy with our choice to stay here and are truly grateful to Gail and Rob for helping us create wonderful memories. We would love to come back again soon!

We rented the house for 1 week during spring break. The house is perfect, clean, has everything you need, and is great quality. The views can’t be beat, the hot tub, pool, and game rooms were a big hit! A family of bears visited us . We would absolutely stay again.

This house was the PERFECT spot for our family getaway. The view is spectacular and the house was in a great location for National Park access and other family activities in the area. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking needs and we enjoyed all gathering around the large dining table. The kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and everyone enjoyed the hot tub with a view. The owner answered all of our questions quickly as well. House / furniture were in great shape and very clean. We will definitely be back!

We come to this gated community every March. We love its proximity to everything, but still away from the busy parkway. This was our first time at this cabin, and it was such a GREAT time. The pool was a huge hit with our adult son with autism. The cabin is so big and lots of space. The views are wonderful. Communication with the owners was A! Will definitely return if we come with extended family again. Beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

This cabin was great! Has everything you could want/need with a great view from all of the three decks. Communication with Gail was quick and she answered any question I had. Cabin is a 10 min drive from main strip in town, which has plenty of things to do if you’re looking to get out of the house. The cabin is situated at the top of the neighborhood, so many uphill turns to get there, but worth it! Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay with a gorgeous view. The lodge is also conveniently located close to stores and Dolly Wood. Kitchen was fully stocked making it hassle free to cook an amazing Christmas dinner. Highly recommend.

Another great stay in the Smokies, with a great cabin with wonderful amenities, and a host with record response time. Our entire party of 12, from 75 to 5, had something to keep them occupied. We will gladly stay here again if the opportunity presents. Thanks Gail!

First of all, the property owner Gail is lovely. She is very communicative and so helpful. The cabin is AWESOME! I’ve stayed in many cabins in the area, none were as appointed as this one. I think she’s quite possibly thought of everything that could be needed in the kitchen. The overall cabin is as described in the listing. It’s beautiful, with a TON of things to do. You really don’t even need to leave the cabin for entertainment.The kids had a ball in the perfectly warmed pool and playing the arcade games. We watched Christmas movies in the theatre. We made a gingerbread cookie house together on the beautiful kitchen table. We drank hot cocoa by the fire, sang a couple Christmas carols and exchanged a present. What memories!! On our last day the sun came out and we were amazed at the beauty of the sun, rising over the mountains in the distance. Wonderful cabin, wonderful stay. Thanks Gail!

The property is great. Just as described. The view is terrific! Can’t really call a luxury house with a pool, theatre, pool table, and every amenity- “a cabin ”. I would definitely recommend and return.
