Stayed May 23, 2022The lakefront property has beautiful sunsets. The lake is crystal clear. Numerous white tail deer roam the heavily wooded lot. Most importantly the home is well appointed, nicely decorated and well maintained. We will definitely try to stay again when in the area.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday in Barnes. The home’s very well equipped kitchen provided everything we needed. This retreat is cozy, comfortable, and feels like home. The deer feeding in the woods nearby were an extra bonus.

Stayed Jun 13, 2024This is the perfect up north getaway. About as good as you can find. Our only issue was finding out about swimmers itch after booking and arriving at the cabin, with little ones that like to swim we will book at another lake next time.

Stayed Oct 18, 2023Spent a long weekend here with my family. The lake home - it's much better than what I picture as a cabin - was outstanding. The property is beautiful, with some nice back roads to run and walk on, did a day trip to amnicon State Park which was very close and very beautiful as well. Gem of a property, owners were very responsive, kind. Main bedroom with king was on the main floor, so good for my parents; my family and I stayed in thr basement which was very clean and comfy
