Stayed Jun 21, 2025The house was one of the cleanest vacation rentals I have been in. The kitchen had utensils & spices. The living room was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms had nice towels and with shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap. The listing says there is air conditioning and the pictures do not show a window unit or fans so we assumed central air, there is a single window unit in the main room. There were fans supplied but they did not all work. The quirky part is that all of the bedrooms are 1 or 2 steps down from the main living area & the steps are not standard sizes and some of the ceilings are very low. The beds are all soft mattresses that are low to the floor. Some of the bedrooms have no furniture with drawers of any kind. The bathroom sinks are very high – I am only 5’2”, it was very uncomfortable to use the bathroom sinks but I could touch the ceiling in the bedrooms. The 2 bathrooms both have large shower stalls.After we checked in we found racoons had made a nest in the wall of the house, I believe that the host was not aware of this at the time. I think we should have been contacted when handling this, they never made an attempt to call me directly. I was unable to call them but they did have my number. We left early when told that the racoons were likely not going to be out of the wall soon, possibly not for 2-3 weeks. They were noisy at night and shutting doors also blocked air flow making the bedrooms very warm.
