Private and secluded mountain cabin with Ozark views from porch!

Great weekend getaway! Description of cabin is EXACTLY as advertised! Being able to have our dog was a PLUS!. We went hiking at Alum Cove & Fern Falls. *short distance from cabin* . *20 min* Nice to come back to the cabin , build a fire , cook dinner on grill. Sit on porch afterwards and look at the beautiful Ozark Mountains. The bed was comfortable! I loved the cozy big blanket. I am in my 60's , wish i would of found this place years ago!!!

This was our first time doing this, we've always just stayed in hotels. Everything was so easy! The property was absolutely beautiful! Secluded and on bluff with a beautiful view! The house has everything you need and it's so cozy! The host doesn't live far but when I say it's secluded I'm not exaggerating. The only thing you need to bring it clothes, food, wood, brush, shampoo/conditioner, and toothbrush. Literally everything else is provided down to spices, coffee and creamer (powdered)! We stayed here 4 nights and 5 days. We grilled every night. It was a bit windy so our fire in the beautiful brick fireplace wasn't really a success but we managed smores :) I didn't wanna leave when our time was up! We will definitely be going back! I'd like to also add the owners never once bothered us nor did we hear or even see them (not that I wouldn't have loved to conversate) :D They just let you feel like it's literally your house while you stay.

The cabin was clean and well kept and the views were amazing. Plus lots of privacy for someone who wants to get away.

This is a beautiful property and the cabin was so clean. It was very private and secluded despite the hosts residence being nearby. I loved that I could bring my fur baby and he could run and play and just be free. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best and due to a family emergency we had to leave a day early but I would definitely return here for a future trip.

This cabin is perfectly located near lots of hiking and Jasper. The views are amazing, and the cabin was well stocked. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our host provide for our every need from extra blankets to marshmallow roasting forks. The view was fabulous and being able to travel with my dog was ideal closer. Praises to our hostess, our cabin, our view and the entire experience

Hands down the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. The front porch and deck were spotless, no cobwebs, no dust on the furniture. It had absolutely everything I needed and the property was beautiful!!

We had a great time! The cabin is very clean and well kept. The property is quiet and peaceful. Very beautiful views! We will definitely stay again in the future.

The location is not too far from paved road, but far enough for peacefulness. It allowed us to enjoy the symphony of birds/bugs/critters in the area in the mornings and evenings. We loved sitting on the viewing deck, especially with our morning coffee. Nights offered spectacular star gazing.The cabin was cozy, comfortable and clean. We had all we needed and wanted for a memorable stay.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cozy cabin in the Ozarks! The property is peaceful and secluded, with plenty of space from other people, which made it feel like our own little retreat. The property felt so safe and private that our dogs could wander freely and happily — a rare treat since we usually have to keep them closely monitored. Waking up to the view of rolling hills from the deck was a highlight of our stay. The house itself is cozy, with a smaller shower and compact space, but perfectly fine for a weekend in the woods. The host was very responsive and helpful, so everything went smoothly. We would definitely love to come back again!

This cabin never gets old. Its my third time here and will be back. Place is clean and neat just as the pics suggests. The owners are great and helpful. Love the peace and quiet!

We had a wonderful stay. Watching the sunsets was spectacular. All the logistics went smooth. The road leading to the cabin was rough and my Honda fit struggled but it was worth it. Cabin and beds were comfortable and clean. It was the perfect place for our anniversary. The dogs had a great time as well. Thank you

My wife and I had a most enjoyable stay at the Rocking Chair Ridge cabin. It was very peaceful and the views are beautiful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

The cabin is nice, clean and secluded. The reason I don’t give 5 Stars is based on the road conditions and driveway into property. Also foliage so thick the view is not as beautiful as it appears in photos. We were unable to ride our motorcycles in and out of property bcz of road/driveway conditions. We finally trailered our bikes 10-11 miles back into Jasper and left our truck and trailer in public parking after we unloaded our bikes. We only road 1 day of the 3 we were there. We were told by City Officials to not expect much more than a logging road when traveling on county roads. That information would have been helpful prior to rental. Lastly, I don’t understand how a driveway washes out, when I was told it hardly ever rains there.

My boyfriend and I stayed mother's Day weekend. We had a great weekend getting away at this beautiful cabin! Amazing views, the cabin was clean and the thoughtfulness of the owners was great. It was so nice and relaxing sitting on the porch rocking chairs listening to all the wildlife and the weather was great. We will definitely be returning!

So much to see in the area though the weather didn’t always cooperate. But even during the showers, to sit on the porch rocking chair, reading and listening to the rain was about as relaxing as it gets. The mist rising in the hills reminded me of the Smokies. I will always keep this place in mind for a refreshing retreat.

It was a fabulous trip!!! Cabin was perfect! So precious! Clean and decorated so cute! The outdoor area was perfect! Great porch to watch the rain clouds roll in. The outdoor seating and fireplace was great! View of mountains was beautiful!

Peaceful and Restoring get away in the mountains. I was surprised by how steep and curvy the mountain roads and highways were reminded me of Colorado.

This place was just what we were looking for. Secluded and great views. We loved sitting outside and drinking our coffee in the mornings.

Cabin was as advertised. Loved the front porch and fire pit area. Would recommend this cabin to anyone interested in staying down in that area.

My husband and I, and our two German Shepherds, stayed for three days in February. The weather didn’t cooperate but what better time to cuddle up with a good book, watch a movie or just sit in front of the fireplace and relax. We couldn’t ask for a more peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

A great place to escape to and recharge. So peaceful and relaxing for my dog and I. I know exactly where to go when I need to get away.

Excellent stay in the fabulous relaxing ozarks. Been to AR many times & this is a great little place to stay perfectly nestled in the quiet woods on the hillside. Gorgeous scenic views morning & night. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We drove most of the day in the rain to get to the cabin. It was still raining when we arrived, but fortunately the cabin was nice and toasty taking the chill out of the night. The next day was still quite wet but tried to hike a couple trails in the area. The next day we decided to stay at the cabin and enjoy the view from the porch of the nearby mountains. The fog in the morning reminded us of the Smoky Mountains. Our puppies loved the area around the cabin as we explored the property. The puppies loved the pond.. We will return again to enjoy the cabin and property.

Needed a getaway, somewhat isolated but still close to amenities. This was exactly what I was hoping for. Clean, comfortable, roomy for a small cabin. The host was quick to respond To questions and easy to work with. Spacious acreage, great scenic view.

We stay here every chance we can when coming to Jasper. It’s my favorite place to unplug and unwind.

This was such an amazing place. I loved getting away to someplace quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was there. My only piece of advice is bring something to keep horse and deer flies away.
