This 4 bed, 3 bath, 2 car garage cabin is in a rural mountain neighborhood. It is quiet! At night you can see lots of stars! A perfect place to get away from the crowds. There is one cabin that is visible in the front of the house, down the hill.
Spacious rooms, family friendly, quiet, but close enough to Estes Park to drop in for fun and shopping.
There is about 1 1/2 acres to explore around the cabin.
Very easily accessed off Highway 7 from Lyons and Estes Park.
This house was perfect and set up nicely. It had everything that you would need for small children. I was traveling with my grandkids (11 months, 3, & 4) it was so nice having all the immunities there and lots of toys and books kept everyone happy. We will definitely be coming back!
Perfect place to sit and stretch out after a day of hiking and exploring
The house is huge with many bedrooms, perfect for large groups. It’s also very well stocked for cooking meals. It’s a perfect home base for the National Park and has the deck with beautiful views waiting for you to relax when you get back. Shelly and Steve were prompt to reply to messages. Definitely recommend a stay here.
We had a great time at your VRBO. Everything was just as described. Coffee outside on the deck overlooking the mountains was my favorite. Thanks!
Enjoyed our stay in this older, but well maintained cabin in the woods; appeared to have new flooring/carpet and the living room furniture was very comfy! Kitchen was very well stocked with spices, any pot/pan you'd need, and a great coffee bar. Plentiful games and toys in the kids nook! The grill worked really well and smores on the firepit were a hit with the kids! Only downside was the driveway was not wide enough for us enter/exit the garage with our XL SUV, so it remained in the driveway. Please note that the Moose Room is in the lower level of the house away from the rest of the bedrooms; something to consider if you have small kids staying in the other bedrooms. Overall, one of our favorite VRBOs!
Easy to access. Property is clean and comfortable. The host responds quickly when contacted by email. Thank You!!
This was our third stay and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay, it’s a great location to RMNP and has a beautiful view of Long’s Peak. The hosts are very responsive.
Perfect for our group, plenty of space, and great play area for the little ones.
Great getaway, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful view of Mt Meeker, easy to find, quiet, highly recommend!
This place has everything you need for an exceptional stay. Plenty of room for five adults and a two year old. Stocked with basic kitchen essentials, plenty of blankets and toys and games for everyone Thank you
We LOVED this place, if you are looking for a peaceful, cozy, nature filled experience this place is for you! The views, the wildlife (If seeing a Moose is on your bucket list then chances are this may be the place for you - we saw 5!). The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with utensils and many staples, the views were breathtaking and the wildlife amazing! I highly recommend this place - it is a shirt drive to Estes and RMNP too - its just one of the best places we've ever stayed!
We stayed here for our nephew's wedding at the Wild Basin Lodge. It was perfectly located and away from the crush of tourists in Estes Park. We could see Mount Meeker out the window and star gaze at night. Lots of room, clean and inviting.
Perfect location, only 20 minutes to the entrance of RMNP which made it super easy to arrive early to beat the crowds. It's also a beautiful drive, the kids were quiet every morning on our trip in as they enjoyed the views and kept their eyes out looking for wildlife, which we saw many elk and deer and marmots. This place has everything you need and more! It's also one of, if not THE cleanest property we've ever stayed in. There is t a single cobweb or dust to be found. We all loved how honey it felt!! Shelly provided a perfect landing place to rest our tired feet from hiking miles every day. We had plenty of space for a family of 5 and even enjoyed evening dinners with extra family that lives in Colorado. They too enjoyed the short drive from Longmont. We loved the views, breathtaking and you have views from every single room, even the showers!!! I couldn't help but smile as I scrubbed my hair and saw the beautiful mountains. :) She also provides so many blankets, we loved the ample supply to wrap up in as we enjoyed a fire from the deck every evening. A short walk on the property and there is an additional overlook that gives you incredible, wide open views. We spent most of our time in the park, but also went rafting near Ft. Collins and spent time in Estes. Because the location feels remote, but close enough to Estes, you can take trips in to grab groceries, ice cream or visit the shops. We all slept great in the plentiful queen beds, with fans provided in every room. Even on warmer days the home cools down perfectly at night. We enjoyed laying in our beds and seeing the stars from our pillows because the windows are placed just right. I could write a novel about this amazing place, so if you are reading this, book it now, you will be so thankful you did!! It was a vacation we will never forget and we are so grateful for this amazing property!!! THANK YOU!!! We hope to be back again soon!!!
We were there for a wedding it is was amazing!1
