Stayed Jul 3, 2025This cabin was all I wanted for our long weekend getaway. The house was beautiful, very well decorated and furnished, spacious, games, hot tub, games, etc. The kids definitely making core memories. The location was perfect, on the top overlooking west to a gorgeous mountain horizon skyline as the sun sets. I highly recommend this property.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024Beary Cozy is the perfect name for this lovely getaway. The cottage was spacious, very clean, nicely decorated, and literally provided everything we needed. We really enjoyed the back porch and the private hot tub. We look forward to staying here again in the future. We enjoyed our stay and our first trip to Branson.

Stayed Oct 20, 2019The location of this property is amazing. You need to drive carefully to reach this destination because of its location in the mountains but it is so worth the drive. The Appalachian house is nicely appointed with everything you need for a little getaway. The weather was a little cool so we were able to turn on the fireplace each evening, work on a crazy puzzle, play some fun card games, enjoy adult refreshments, and just chat. With four in our group, we each had our own bedroom with two of us sharing the upstairs bath. The accommodations were quite comfortable; we would give this property a very high recommendation.

Stayed Sep 19, 2019This property is in a beautiful location with a spectacular view of the sunset. The linens were very ‘cheap’ quality. Both sheets and towels. The grill did not work well. The pool table and light above were broken and had not been repaired. Two of the lights above the dining table were out and were to high to replace ourselves, plus there were no extra bulbs that we could find. There were chairs on the top deck but no side tables....no where to comfortably put your beverage or book down. It is quite a drive from Asheville and not one you would want to do in the dark. But, given that, the sunset was so spectacular we were ‘home’ in time to see it each night of our stay.

Stayed Jul 22, 2019We traveled to Mars Hill with plans of exploring in an around Asheville and the surrounding area. Our family is half children and half adults, ages ranging from 8-65. We loved that the cabin was spacious with plenty of room to have time together and alone, with bedrooms in each floor it made it easy to provide privacy as needed. The large kitchen is well stocked with most typical items for cooking and eating. It was a huge bonus to have a washer and dryer within the unit, although it could be larger and quieter. They whole family used the pool and fooze ball tables as well as the out door hot tub. There is more than enough deck space between the three levels and the views were outstanding. The community pool offered another close and free recreational opportunity. As described, you are literally on top of the mountain. Driving back and forth is a bit time consuming and should be done with care. We tended to avoid returning back up after dark. You need to make sure to plan and pack or buy what you need before you head up because there is no such thing as running out quickly. The views and peace are worth the drive. I’m sure this would be a fantastic place to stay to see the fall colors.
