Beautiful setting. Comfortable

Great for kids since room to roam and run. Upstairs beds were not used and stairs up may be an issue for older folks. Good location!! And so quiet at night ~ Loved it.

The property was beautiful and the cabin was amazing. We saw Mule Deer every day out our window and the view of the mountains was beautiful. It had a nice big porch to sit on and look at the mountains and wildlife and the ranch horses.

It is ranching fantasy camp:. the cabin is situated for you to take in all of the majesty and serenity, while being just close enough to appreciate the workings of the life.

Beautiful log cabin in a beautiful setting. Our hosts were wonderful. We enjoyed the view of aspen and evergreen and especially the snow falling in the distant mountains. Amenities included a bbq grill, fire pit and wood/charcoal was available for use. Small kitchen but we made do for four. We hiked down to the creek and just sat and enjoyed the ambience. Loved watching a working cattle ranch. I’d visit again if in the area.

If you’re looking for a great home base for the Arkansas Valley area, this is a great choice! Amazing custom built cabin in a gorgeous peaceful setting. The fact that it’s on a ranch with horses and cattle makes it very special.

This was a truly a beautiful log cabin on a working cattle ranch ! Just outside of Salida CO The views were spectacular and the inside of the cabin was just so well crafted and attention to details were everywhere ! Everything you neeed was available !Dana the host was wonderful to lets us know about the history of the ranch and her family !We would love to visit PO Ranch LogCabins again !

We love this place and have stayed multiple times. It has the absolute best land and river to enjoy at a vrbo!

The cabin is beautifully built in a lovely location within the ranch with views of the mountains and pastures in the area. Additionally, its location is perfect for spending the day exploring the area, hitting monarch mountain, or a day in Salida. Moreover, the hosts were very responsive and lovely people. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to slend time in the region.

Dean was a perfect host and went above and beyond our expectations! This cabin was a cozy, beautiful, and a well stocked get-away for my boyfriend's birthday weekend! We picked that location because it was nearby for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing at Monarch.Beds were comfortable, gorgeous views, everything was perfect! **We will 100% be staying there again!**

The cabin is in a perfect position to ski at monarch mountain and still make a trip into salida if you want to without much travel time. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very roomy with everything you’d need. Overall it was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our ski trip! Would stay again if given the opportunity.

The property is gorgeous, the rental was spotless, and the owner was a real gem! We couldn’t recommend more highly.
