Stayed Sep 12, 2025What a wonderful stay! Here is a breakdown of what it made it so fantastic: 1) Location: The location was perfect- quiet and private with beautiful views but still only short drive to the city of Asheville. There is a nearby trail with access to a creek that our kids and dogs absolutely loved!2) Communication: All messages were answered right away and the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us.3) Property: The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is very spacious and my kids were ecstatic with our stay. They each had their own private spaces inside and there were also several different lounge areas outside. There is a fire pit, a hammock, a bench swing, and several other seating areas/balconies There are very comfortable rocking adirondack chairs surrounding a propane fire pit with the most gorgeous mountain views- a great place to sit with coffee and a book! Lastly, the property was immaculately clean. 4) Amenities: I cannot say enough about how thoughtfully the cabin was furnished. The beds are the most comfortable I think I've ever slept on. The house is stocked with games, puzzles, and books. The pool table and theatre room were a big hit with my kids as well. The owner provided s'mores supplies, a snack basket, and coffee for all 3 types of coffee makers they have at the coffee bar. The kitchen is fully stocked with absolutely everything you need to prepare a meal. There are ample supplies such as garbage bags and dishwasher pods.We can't wait to return!

Stayed Aug 13, 2025Outstanding property with all the amendities you could ask for a family gathering. The 3000' elevation provided cool relief from the hot lowlands. Communications with Hunter, the owner, were top notch. You will not be disappointed, one of the best VRBO's we've had the pleasure of using.The coffee bar and smoors bar were a terrific touch.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025This home was exactly what we needed. We were able to enjoy the local sights, but spent so much time at the house too. It was comfortable, well appointed and clean. We had ages from nearly 2-76. The owner/manager was very communicative and kind. The s’mores and coffee bars were a hit!

Stayed Jun 5, 2025The house was in a great location with amazing views. It has been updated & very nice throughout. We loved the firepit with plenty of firewood. The house was well stocked with everything you need. The coffee bar is the best! Thank you! We would love to rent again and will refer friends and family.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024This home is phenomenal! Beautifully decorated, well appointed, completely stocked, situated atop a gorgeous mountain with a spectacular view of Mt. Pisgah. The beds were super comfy. The shower in the primary bedroom was heavenly. The kitchen was excellent for a catered party. The multiple fireplaces and fire pit were cozy and romantic. The game room with pool table, video games (PAC MAN!), a popcorn machine, and theater seating was fun and nostalgic. All the bedrooms were incredible, spacious and comfy. First time ever I didn’t have to pack everything from linens and towels to soaps and firewood! Hunter has you covered! The best part, as nice as the interior is, of course, is the outdoor space. The large beautiful deck has ample seating for our large party (16 people) and we didn’t even use the covered nook with its own fireplace, which has more seating. The lower level has a giant fire pit with 8 Adirondack chairs, where we ended up every night! If that isn’t enough, we had a relaxing soak in the hot tub! Hunter, the host, is the best host I’ve ever dealt with, and I’ve rented a lot of houses in my travels. He is extremely attentive and responsive and genuinely engaged, as if I am the only client on his roster. He went out of his way to offer assistance throughout the planning stage to ensure an epic experience, which is exactly what this weekend ended up being! I couldn’t have picked a better spot to celebrate my birthday! If I could, I’d give it TEN stars!

Stayed Apr 7, 2024We were 6 adults all over 60. The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. It sits on top of the mountain with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time, each couple had their own bed and bath on three different floors. Our Host Hunter was wonderful and extremely responsive to any questions or needs we had and is extremely personable. Cabin is close to Biltmore House, NC Arboretum, Ashville, Maggie Valley and the cutest town ever, Waynesville.
