Beautiful place to stay and get away from everything. Cabin is well stocked with everything you need.
Beautiful cabin in lovely mountain setting. Loved the hot tub!
Upon arriving at Pikes Peak Ranch we all were shocked at how amazing the property is. We stayed at The Wilderness Cabin and, honestly, The pictures online don’t do it justice. An hour into our stay we were all looking to book again for next year. Jack and Mariah had everything set up perfect and we’re very accommodating. It’s the best vacation stay I’ve ever been to. Absolutely zero complaints.
House was as listed, clean, quiet, convenient, private. Very comfortable space. Comfortable furniture In bedroom and living room. Beautiful Mountain and Meadow view. Responsive kind host.
The property is absolutely stunning and the cabin itself is perfect! Very peaceful and would highly recommend this place!
Husband & I got to escape here from the hot Kansas summer. We brought our infant son and were able to leave two toddlers home with grandparents (they had a blast too!) PPR was gorgeous, peaceful, cozy, clean, quiet, had wonderful weather, an amazing cabin, lovely hosts, in a fabulous location. Our time flew! We definitely hope to be back with the entire family some day in the magical mountains. This trip was just what we needed before the craziness of fall. Thank you thank you!
We traveled from Illinois with jeeps & sxs to visit our property at Thunderbutte just north of Westcreek. Additionally, we are in the process of rebuilding our cabin lost to the Haymen Fire in 02. Friends and family made the trip. We totally enjoyed the wilderness cabin. Was perfect for our week stay. One ding I will mention, we ran out of paper products within the first couple days. Walked to the office a couple times but was closed each time. No big deal made the trip to town and resupplied. Additionally, I need to mention do not allow guests with pets to visit. No pets mean no pets on the grounds. Our sons and their dogs made a few visits , kept their dogs outside and the Owners politely reminded us of the policy. We apologized for the misunderstanding and assured Owners, no pets entered cabin and no pets would return to property. We have used VRBO many times in CO and I must rate this property at the top of the list. Excellent condition, good Wi-Fi , amazing views and easy access to great NF trails for jeeps & sxs. Strongly recommend to future travelers!
Beautiful property, thank you for a lovely stay
The stay at pikes peak resort was better than we imagined! The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and the layout was nice. The hot tub was clean and worked very well. We enjoyed several visit from Breck, their dog! We will absolutely return.
My wife, two young children, and I had a great time at this property! It is safe to say this place is 'off the grid', which is exactly what we were looking for. Cabin was equipped with WiFi, so we were able to stay connected (if we chose to). Cabin was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host even had a pack 'n play, high-chair, and baby gate ready for us for check-in, which really helped with our 18 month old son. Our 6 year old daughter had a great time exploring around the property, seeing lots of deer, and the night sky - she had never seen so many stars before. Was nice being away from the city lights and enjoying the fresh mountain air for a long weekend. Hot tub was also a big hit for us! Thank you for a great experience - hope to be back!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We cannot wait to visit again.
This cabin was a great get in beautiful country. The hosts were very nice and responsive. The cabin was in great condition, very clean and well looked after. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away in the mountains. Thank you!
I was looking for a quiet, beautiful place in the mountains to spend a few days catching up with old friends from out of town. The Wilderness cabin was perfect. I would definitely book this cabin again in the future.
The views were incredible
Place was absolutely perfect! Very secluded and relaxing. Loved loved loved the views! Highly recommend this property!
Everything was fabulous! Perfect property!
Wilderness Cabin is set in the most beautiful place in the mountains. Beautiful views in every direction, peaceful. Two deer in the driveway just after we moved in for our 3-night stay. This 3 bedroom home was spacious and bright, neat and organized, perfectly clean, and the owners are so thoughtful- they thought of everything to make it convenient and make us comfortable. Kitchen has all dishes, towels, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, glassware, cookware, very nice coffee pot, toaster, blender, crockpot, very nice large fridge and stove. Even foil and plastic wrap, and salt and pepper, dishwasher detergent, and dish soap. They’ve thought of everything. Fantastic gas grill on the porch. Lovely gas fireplace, which turns on with the switch on the wall, just like turning on a light. Hot tub a few steps from the other porch, simple to operate and with pretty lights, and very private. And robes! Nice new washer and dryer, complete with detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets. Everything was simple to operate, and there were explicit instructions for everything, too. Bathrooms have towels, hair dryer, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner. All so modern and pretty. There were notes explaining everything and what is expected. There is a picture of the owners’ dog, Breckinridge, and a note explaining that she comes visiting and is friendly- she is sooo sweet! The owners live on the property and left their cell numbers and a note to call if we needed anything at all. We loved this place and could not have been more pleased. Exceeded expectations.
Our entire group was pleasantly surprised by the house, property, and proximity to fishing in Deckers and hiking in Cheesman Canyon. Loved the solitude and the proximity to nearby towns of Woodland Park and Manitou Springs/Colorado Springs. Read up on the Hayman fire before you go, and it will introduce you to another fascinating element of the area. Great area to stay and a wonderful property.
