Stayed Jul 13, 2025The location worked well for us as it was close to a birthday function we were attending.The bed was very comfortable & warm. Just what we needed in mid-winter.The entire set-up is definitely better suited for summer, but the layout was accurately described by Marie, and our priority was proximity to the function.

Stayed Mar 17, 2025Marie really made this stay incredible! She gave us a lot of information on the local eateries, things to do, and directions around the area. She was also very communicative and responded very quickly.We booked as a last minute change to our itinerary, whereas we had originally planned to stay in Auckland. So glad we went to Piha instead. We left really wishing we could have spent some more time here. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Marie!

Stayed Oct 22, 2023The property was described as small, which it was but it could be better designed to be more functional….. once the small bed was opened there was not much room to move or put your luggage. Some things for the kitchen were inside & others were in the outside area. A great location & Marie is lovely.

Stayed Nov 18, 2022This is a great space to base yourself when staying at Piha. Marie is a great host, she was very mindful of my privacy and comfort, and available to answer any questions I might have! Plus a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. A perfect weekend :)

Stayed Feb 2, 2020After the muck around with the disappearing key within the first few minutes of arrival, I was put off & found accommodation somewhere else for the night. Rather annoyed, as I’d come from Australia to attend my sisters wedding.
