Picturesque Cabin: 2 Balconies, Walk to Lake!

The power went out in all three bedrooms the first night of our stay We had no lights in the bedrooms. Made it difficult at night. The power could not be restored until after our stay ended. No offer was made to refund part of our rental fees as compensation for having no electricity.

It was perfect for our planned stay. Very clean and pleasant decoration.

As long as stairs are not a problem for you, this property is fabulous. Very comfortable beds, great WiFi, updated and lots light and porches to take in the scenery. Close to the lake and shops too. There are no toiletries or condiments provided though and the kitchen could be better equipped. The home is situated on a side of a mountain so parking is a little treacherous. Overall a good experience.

The house itself is beautiful; balconies are perfect to sit and enjoy the mountain air and glimpse the lake, plenty of room for a large group. Easy walking distance to the lake and the best grocery store (with coffee and ice cream shop). Beautiful spot. I do wish the kitchen had been a little better stocked. We even noticed the coffee machine was missing parts and therefore unusable. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would return to Crestline in the future.

We had a great time in this stunning home. Short walk to the lake. Fun to sit on the balconies. Rooms are decorated and set up very nicely. Would love to come back next summer!

Nice house great location no problems

Super comfy and relaxing. And we got a good workout with the stairs, so all the food doesn’t count! Thank you for a fun getaway

The house is beautiful, clean and in a fantastic location. Close to the lake, dining, and the grocery store (which is also amazing). All walking distance to the property or a very easy, 1 minute drive. Thank you for hosting us and providing an excellent vacation with the kids!

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at the mountain chateau! The decor is amazing!

The home is very comfortable. I was aware of many steps to enter the home but the photos were not totally transparent as to how many. There is a huge steep flight of steps that are not in any of the photos of the outside. This was a bit of a shock. It snowed while we were there and we had to contact a snow removal service to be able to navigate the large flight of steps and get out of the driveway. I do realize this is an issue to expect when staying in Crestline during months when snowfall can be expected. I was disappointed in the cookware. Not great, very few pieces and quite old. Overall, our stay was quite comfortable. House is very nice, and clean. Very convenient to walk to town, the grocery, a few casual restaurants and to the lake. Location is excellent. Owners were quick to respond when I contacted them. If not for the huge flight of stairs I would stay there again.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location

We had such a relaxing and fun family vacation at this property. It was very clean and well maintained.

We had a great time in this lovely cabin. The host thought of everything & was very helpful!! The cabin is very close to the lake, grocery store and a cute Mexican restaurant we were able to walk to. Food was great! Highly recommend this cabin!!!!We would stay again!!!

We got in 1.5 hours late due to a dead keypad and an eventual maintenance repair. First morning there was a scheduled power outage that we were not notified about so we couldn’t make coffee/breakfast/get ready for the day. Then finally when we left keypad was dead again so couldn’t even lock the home. Frustrating today the least, I asked for a partial refund/compensation which was not granted at this time. Additionally, no toiletries as posted in description. We also ran out of toilet paper and there was no extras. Beautiful home, good views, w/d convenient. Comfy beds. Great location. We made the best of it and enjoyed the decks and nice weather.

We loved our stay! The location is great, right by the lake, and the house was clean and had everything needed for a lovely few days stay with family. It was charmingly decorated as well. We will certainly return!
