Pet Friendly Two Bedroom in Blue Ridge Mtns

Very clean and well stocked for everything we needed. My friends and I enjoyed our stay with our dogs. Highly recommend! We will return!

The cabin is comfortable for a family of 4-5. We stayed 4 nights. Good space to unwind. There was a problem with bug infestation. The air conditioner amply cools the kitchen and living areas but less effective in the bedrooms. It would benefit from an upgrade of furniture and appliances. Coffee maker takes K cups and that would be helpful to know! We had to go out and buy additional garbage bags as there was no replacement.

This experience has not been good, and both VRBO and the general public need to know.The property does not match the description. The house is not clean or organized, and the photos in the listing appear to be from a long time ago- they do not represent the current condition of the unit.The living room absolutely needs the rug shown in the listing photos. Without it, the space feels cold, uncomfortable, and messy.The beds and bedding are terrible in the room with 2 beds, and old bedding is stuffed into the closets in a disorganized and unclean condition.Every cabinet in the kitchen is unorganized and filled with broken or outdated items. Many of the dishes were dirty. The listing also states there is a dishwasher, which there is not. Making meals here was extremely challenging because the kitchen does not have what guests reasonably need.There were hairs in the shower upon arrival, and the floors were visibly dirty. You can wipe the floor with a white paper towel and immediately see dirt and grime on it.To make matters worse, we lost an entire night of our three-night stay due to a horrible check-in process. Overall, this property is misrepresented and not properly maintained. (Creekwood cabins refunded me roughly 1 night stay after I asked for it the day I checked out. I highly doubt they are planning on fixing the issues just based on customer service.)

It was easy to get to and very quiet. Not sure it's worth the cost as the beds were deeply uncomfortable and it's very outdated. Also, the flyer in the welcome basket had the wrong WiFi info so we were without cell service till the very last second when we figured it out. Very confusing.

Close to wineries and breweries. Comfortable and clean.

Check-in would've been easy except the key was missing from the lock box and we had no cell service. We drove back to the top of the mountain where were able to contact the owner and quickly resolve the issue. Luckily, it wasn't dark yet! The cabin is well lived in but clean. Reminder to bring a wine opener because I was very disappointed to find no wine opener and several new bottles of wine. The AC is through the wall in the living area only, but with ceiling fans in the bedrooms, it was not uncomfortable sleeping, and it was quite warm outside. The beds are firm, the linens comfortable. The Internet service was great. We did not end up bringing our dogs, but it was a very suitable place for animals. We enjoyed the large deck and there is a grill available. Mountain Wood isn't a brand new cabin with all the latest, but it was perfect for exploring the area and relaxing in the evening.

Had a log cabin feel. Made to really connect with family. No outside distractions

Very nice cabin in great location just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Quiet - nice to hear the birds in the morning. Great for a couple and a dog. Only 5 minutes from Sherando Lake which was truly a hidden gem in the national forest. We plan to be back!

We enjoyed our stay there. It was clean, and we had everything we needed. The kids loved having our dog with us too.

Very clean , everything we need . Nice thoughtful touches like popcorn and games. Ceiling fan and ac kept it very comfortable. Beautiful views up the mountain near the ski resort.
