The little house is next to a 2 acre pond, in a small neighborhood, 15 minutes from Brevard and Rosman. Upstairs is a covered porch with a bench, and down stairs is another covered porch with a swing and laundry room. Inside is a Queen bed, full kitchen, and a three-quarter bathroom. Pet friendly. Outside is a fire pit and gas grill. This is the only house on the pond, and you will have your own dock with a paddle boat. East Fork River, Dupont, and Pisgah Forest are all nearby, which provide

Stayed Aug 13, 2025Me and my dogs really enjoyed our Little House getaway. While I do wish the water in the pond had been higher, that’s not anything controllable, and the frog chorus while we sat in the swing and watched the birds made up for it. You can tell a lot of love went into this place and I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed May 14, 2025We really enjoyed our stay with, Jessica. Her and her husband, Levi were great! The only problem we had was the lack of a pond. But, the local waterfalls made up for that. Haha will stay again.

Stayed May 17, 2024One of my daughters and I took this little getaway together. The Little House was perfect for our stay. It was tucked back off this quaint gravel road right on its own little pond. The wildlife noises at night and in the mornings were amazing. We got to see deer come drink from the pond in the early mornings while also getting to watch a family of ducks and also geese enjoy the pond. The Little House had everything we needed and the size was perfect. Also, Jessica was wonderful! My daughter and I were trying to find the best fishing spots and Jessica and her husband were so gracious to take time to chat with us to give us the rundown on our options. The checkin process and check out process were super easy and convenient. We will definitely be looking to come back again!

Stayed Dec 15, 2023Great location with access to so many hiking trails and great fishing on the East Fork of the French Broad. Jessica was a very accommodating host and always available if needed. Had a great time!
