Pet-Friendly Cabin in the Woods w/HOT TUB! Secluded, Cozy, 2,000' Up!

Beautiful setting! Very nice cabin. Had everything you need just bring food! Kitchen had all you needed to cook or go the short distance to Ellijay and eat.Host was awesome! Prompt replies to all my messages.Loved the hot tub! Side note, don’t try and find it in the dark! Not my finest moment but we made it.Would recommend a stay at the “Pine Cone Cabin” in Ellijay!

While this cabin itself is clean and well stocked, we ran into an issue with water and the host made no effort to remedy the situation. The water in the cabin has no pressure, rendering the facilities useless. The shower head does not get enough pressure to spray water, and it may be due to something like a filter for the well or the well pump itself may be going out. In any case - the host told me there was no problem with it and has refused to make it right. We paid for, and expected to have the ability to shower and freshen up after a long day of hiking, and were left without basic necessities. It doesn't go without saying that the hot tub water was also not fresh. We received a message saying that it's refilled between bookings and to give it time to heat to 102. That is also absolutely untrue, considering the fact that it took 3 entire minutes to fill my dog's water bowl using the outside hose.Disgusting behavior and communication. Take your business elsewhere.

Wonderful!! If you want to just get into the trees and have quiet moments this is you. Do believe that the ride to the cabin is rough its bumpy in some spots its steep in some. Other then that its beautiful cabin has what you need and some. You get enough of the basics to start you off. We ate in the cabin the whole 4 days. The kitchen had it all and in very nice shape...the fire pot was great again to sit and relax . We did go down the hill...and into town also to blue ridge. Love the areaAWESOME correspondence from Amanda got back to you if any questions and only had a few on day of check-in other wise no need to contact hosts as it was a great time.Cabin is decorated lovely no over the top cabin woods animal theme tastefully done.Check in the door lock no problemOoo ya the hot tub another soothing aspect Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your spot it was fantastic Kathleen

Excellent experience & beautiful cabin. Very private location, well furnished, hot tub, grill, fire pit, etc. Perfect place to unwind and reconnect! Host was also very responsive! Highly recommended!

Amazing getaway!!! It was perfect in every way!!!

This cabin is nestled at the top of the mountain with generous appointments at every corner. The Hosts were responsive and accommodating. We didn't need a thing other than our choice of food, beverage and ourselves. It was clean and very comfortable. The very definition of home away from home. Your can tell, the minute you pull in, that the Hosts put their heart and soul into this place. 10/10. The perfect getaway!

Wonderful places place to stay a great view but need a four wheel drive to get Up to the Top. Where the cabin is its it's quiet and peaceful place would definitely go back.

It was perfect! The only hard part was the ride up the mountain and the address didn’t exactly take us to the cabin but it was just a little ways down! We had a great time and the host was amazing!!!

We LOVED our stay this weekend! The mountain view (end of winter) was such a nice surprise. The house was very clean, comfortable and all everything we needed. Our favorite part of the day was sundown in the porch rocking chairs and night rain storms on the porch. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning, listening to only the sounds of the birds. The drive up is about 15 minutes in a gravel dirt road but if you're familiar with navigating mountain roads like us, you'll do just fine. Perfect getaway and highly recommend!

Excellent cabin. Very comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay! Our host was an excellent communicator and very welcoming. I have saved this cabin info for a future stay.

Hot tub was great. Comfy bed. Has modern amenities.. Can choose to unplug but still have option to connect if desired.

This was my husband and I first wedding Anniversary trip and this cabin was perfect we have never stayed in a cabin as nice as this one! Nestled up with beautiful trees and great rocking chairs and a nice hot tub! The property was spotless, and has everything you need!!! Just bring some food thats all!!And the host was super sweet, very easy to communicate with!! We will definitely be returning 10/10

Beautiful cabin, stunning views, and very peacefuland quiet. Great hosts to book with as well. The hot tub and porch swing area is very private and cozy. Would definitely stay again. Steep/bumpy drive but if you have a AWD/4Wheel you’ll be fine.

Beautiful, peaceful cabin at the top of the mountain. Check-in was very easy, and the host was very responsive with great communication—even sharing a list of their favorite local places to visit. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs at night listening to the sounds of nature, and the hot tub on the lower deck was spectacular for relaxing after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. We even spotted a black bear cub, which made the trip extra special. A truly magical anniversary getaway!

The check in process was clear. The kitchen was clean and all appliances were in good repair. The owner provided excellent instructions about how to get to the property and provided recommendations for local activities and businesses. It was a great stay and I highly recommend this property.

Truly loved the cabin and location. It was very quiet and tranquil and beutiful inside and out. A storm came first but we still enjoyed the solitude and tranquility of the cabin..We will be back as soon as possible

We has a small black bear cub that wandered by the cabin twice a day in search of snacks. Our dog was not a big fan, but he seemed harmless and would move along after a few minutes of not finding anything to eat.

Very sweet cabin with everything you need for a wonderful weekend away! Even had flashlights and emergency lantern when power went out after a storm the first night and the host messaged to check on us. You definitely need a truck or 4x4 to get to cabin- very bumpy and steep grades to get to property

The property was clean and fairly secluded. Within a 30 minute drive to great hiking locations and to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this house to others with 4x4 or AWD vehicles.

Was a bit of a drive on the gravel roads, especially in the rain. The place had all we needed and more. We loved it!

Myself, a coworker, and her b/f rented the cabin for an extended birthday weekend stay! Was absolutely thrilled with the peacefulness of the stay. Very cool quite mornings spent sitting in rocking chairs or laying across the porch swing on the lower level enjoying a cup of coffee! The grill was a fantastic asset as it was used daily for lunch/dinner! The host was very responsive with answers to any questions I had and communicated fantastically prior to the stay letting us know what to expect getting to the property & things to do around town! Will absolutely be bookmarking the listing for future getaways. Thank y’all for the opportunity to stay!!

I loved the cabin. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Check-in was simple. This was I first time to the mountains and we will definitely return.

What a great location and cabin to get away from it all! The property was fantastic for the kids to explore the woods and enjoy nature. Hiking, hot tubs, and cozy movie nights in front of the fire. Even when inclement weather and freak tornado conditions arose, the owners communicated with us quickly to ensure safety and security as well as comfort. Our family will definitely be back!

I can’t give enough kudos to the owners of this little piece of paradise! We will certainly be back when time allows in our busy schedules. The owner was incredibly attentive to any email questions and needs and the property was just serene. Absolutely on point with the need for 4wd or AWD to get from the main road to the cabin but this just made it more primative which was just what we were shooting for. 5 stars all around!

It perfect for what we wanted, away from everything. Definitely need AWD or 4WD, I discounted this not expecting Georgia to have any challenging roads. My wife’s AWD got us up there easy but would be challenging in 2WD. Fished over in Blue ridge and spent a bit of time downtown. Highly recommend

Everything was great!! Used the alternative route due to the muddy wet terrain..but we managed to get there safely !

We visited Pinecone cabin over a long weekend. The cabin is perfect. Amanda is an amazing host. The hot tub was hot and ready when we arrived and there was plenty of firewood. The cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I had to do some remote work and the WiFi did not give me any problems. The drive up and down the mountain is about a 10 minute drive and the scenery is beautiful. We absolutely loved it and did not want to leave.

We needed a quiet getaway and Pinecone Cabin filled the bill. The place was immaculately clean and exactly as described. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved how private and secluded it was. Owner was quick with getting back to me on questions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to rent this cabin out.

Moderately difficult drive up the mountain, but nice for privacy. Saw bears and a coyote. Several restaurants were closed 2 of our few days...overall, just the getaway we needed. Many local wineries. Ll
