The property was beautiful and well stocked. The fishing dock was perfect for trout fishing! The newly built stairs going to the second floor made going upstairs very easy! Overall a fantastic trip!

The pictures of the property are NOT current! The property needs to be completely cleaned! According to the listing there was a full bathroom upstairs. That bathroom's toilet was in a hall closet, the bathroom was completely taken apart and unusable!!! The owner sent me a message a few hours before check-in to tell me not to use the shower upstairs. There was NO shower, NO toilet or sink. The owner left that part off. The spiral staircase off the kitchen is barely useable due to the size of it. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. Don't EVER book this place!

We had our family Christmas weekend and it was great! The kids fished off the deck and had so much fun! The house was perfect for us! The staircase is very tiny and wasn’t easy going up and down for adults but we made it work! Kids loved it!! It was cozy and comfortable. Beautiful in this area! We can’t wait to come back in the spring. We did have garbage disposal and dishwasher issues but it didn’t hamper our stay! Overall it was fantastic and we will rent again!!

We usually come visit family a couple of times a year in the same area. The place was cute and right by the river with a dock which is what we wanted. In the pictures of the house we didn’t see the spiral staircase to get upstairs so that was a surprise. The king size bed is super firm and we weren’t too happy about that. We like to grill at least once while we are there and the grill was rusted out and not usable so we ended up buying a small one to use. The house wasn’t very clean. There were mouse turds on top of the fridge and bird poop all over the front porch swing. It needed swept or vacuumed which would have been fine with us if they didn’t have the cleaning supplies locked up in a closet. We ended up buying a vacuum and mop as well. It would have been nice to have extra toilet paper and paper towels. We had to buy those. There needs to be some kitchen towels too. The half bathroom walls were unfinished and the wallpaper was peeling off. Altogether it was our least favorite house we have rented but we made due with what we had.

We enjoyed our stay. The downstairs is really nice. The down side of this home is the crazy narrow spiral staircase. It’s very difficult to get any luggage up there. The staircase would keep me from renting this home again. There is tons of games to enjoy.

We enjoyed our stay at the property very much. It has beautiful views from the decks and a nice fire pit for s’mores. The house has plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and is well stocked.

This little house has a sweet little cottage feel to it. There are a couple of downsides to this property but would not deter me from recommending this place to able bodied people. There is a very narrow spiral staircase that leads to the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. We, as the primary renters, ended up having to stay upstairs because we were with my step dad and his wife who are an older couple and could not have made the trip up those spiral stairs. The only other downside was the ceiling fan in the living room did not work and we called and texted the number given on the paper by the front door and never got any kind of response. Oh, also the last day, we were using the microwave and the flat top plug in griddle and it blew that fuse. The fuse box is behind locked doors but we were able to move the griddle to another outlet but were unable to use the microwave. The furnishings were great! The beds are super comfy. Slept wonderfully. If you stay in the summer months and have people upstairs, I would recommend another fan as the ceiling fan itself could only do so much in this 100 degree weather.
