Great fishing get away. Very relaxing
The property was perfect and we have zero complaints - would stay there again. The only complaint was with communication. While we were there, a storm took a tree and it fell directly across the driveway and the only way to exit. It was on the day we were scheduled to leave and we panicked that we would not meet our checkout time. I called and left a message explaining the situation and requesting a call back. I did not receive a return call until two days after we had returned home. Luckily, one of the families we were traveling with had a chain in their truck, and we were eventually able to move the tree and get out.
Nice cabin. River location & private dock is ideal for fishing. Neighborhood is lovely. Older property (built 70s?). Not dilapidated, but in need of some TLC mostly on porches (powerwashing, sweeping, repair screened porch, etc.). Bedrooms were nice & comfy. Would stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is great. We caught fish from the dock. We enjoyed the spacious patios and fire pit outside. Beds are comfortable. The staircase to upstairs is very small but suitable for children. The only negative is the house and patio area were not as clean as most rentals are upon check in. We had also asked prior to check in if firewood was available for the fire pit and were told yes. However, none was available so we purchased this once we got there. I would also recommend the owner add some kitchen knives for those that enjoy cooking. Overall the stay was great and we will definitely return!
We loved this cabin. Everything was just like the pictures. Had plenty of room and the beds were great. We definitely recommend and will stay again.
We enjoyed our stay. Fishing was limited due to rain but was good when it wasn’t raining. The property was clean and we had no problems.
Everything is as stated and shown. The house is in a very beautiful neighborhood with large lots. Quiet. Beds slept very good!! Fished off dock. Plenty of room! I would stay here again!!
This place is at an excellent location. Check in was easy and property manager was great at communicating. Cons- house was dirty. Towels left under the bed from stay before us. Dead bugs on window seals. Both porch and deck had debris on them that needed cleaned off. Dock also has weeds growing from one side to the other with stickers on them. Yard also needed mowed plus there were internet/phone lines across the front yard which were a trip hazard. Carpenter ants all over house outside so be aware. Spiral Stair case isn’t for everyone so be sure you know that two bedrooms are upstairs. Pros- fully stocked kitchen and laundry area. Great screened in porch were we spent alot of time. Huge front yard for playing outside.
Accommodations were fine. Check the spiral staircase to the second floor, a bit narrow. House and amenities were good, location on river is great. Management was slow to respond if at all. Asked prior to leaving if we could go in a couple hours early, no response, by the time we left to travel to the property I did not receive an answer. The last night a strong storm hit the area, next morning a tree had fallen across the driveway area. A car or pickup could drive under but we had a Class B RV that was to tall. No response for hours from the agent, we were lucky and were able to move the van across a field to the driveway pass the tree. Also heavily advertised by a couple I am assuming the Realtors, they were zero help. Should remove their name from all information. Disappointed with the management but property is good.
This home was situated on the bank of the Little Red River as described. The screened in back porch and deck were perfect for lounging after a day boating and fishing. Although the river was very high during our stay, we did catch fish from the home's private dock. In addition, as someone who struggles with tactile sleeping issues while traveling (and often take my own bedding), I can attest that the sheets and pillowcases were soft and breathable. This detail made me feel like I was home away from home.
The location was great and the house was charming. The upstairs has a very narrow spiral staircase which makes it tricky for bigger suitcases and older people so consider that when traveling. It worked out okay for us. Would be perfect for a family with kids.
Very nice cabin on the Little Ted River. We are planning on returning.
We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cabin on the Little Red River! My teenage boys caught trout off the dock that we ate for dinner! Cabin was just as described, we will be back! Excellent communication with property manager also :)
Nice home with all the items you need to feel comfortable and welcomed. Beautiful scenery on a quiet street. River access on property. Would go back for sure.
Beautiful location right on the Little Red. Very private with a ton of wildlife around you. You won’t be disappointed.
The house is perfect. We loved everything about our stay. We caught a ton of fish right off the dock. We kayaked, fished, ate and played family games. So much fun. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were also. I meant to look at the pillows to see what kind they are but I forgot. I was going to get me some like them for home. The house if very pet friendly inside and out. Our doodle had the time of his life. He stayed inside when he got hot or out on the back deck when he wanted out there. The attic fan was a big plus. It was cool enough that we could have the some windows open and the back doors on the screened porch. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to put a screen door on the front door like there is on the back porch. Just being able to leave the front door open would be great. We will be back!!! We have stayed in several places on the river and this one is by far the best yet.
Clean beautiful property. Great get away on the water.
Great
Before we even arrived at the cabin, we were amazed at how beautiful the scenery was. We felt like we were in Gatlinburg, TN. The cabin is nice and clean, perfect for our family of 7 and our dog. We saw many deer, a fox, a beaver, rabbits, geese and other wildlife. The river is so peaceful and we often just went down there (even at night) to enjoy its beauty. The cabin is well stocked if you are like us and cook often. We highly recommend it!
