Perfect cozy cabin w/ tree house on 3 acres of woods near skiing, hiking & DWG

Overall, it was a very nice experience and the owners did an excellent job of making the cabin feel very homely. The cabin and property are so beautiful and everything from food, towels, firewood, and more were so kindly provided for us. We only had a couple minor complaints. The kids were excited about the treehouse but that was under construction and we were not made aware until we arrived on the property. Also, the AC was not set up before we arrived, so it was hot at night when we were sleeping. Our second day there, the power and water cut off from noon to 5pm because of some emergency work, but that is just our luck and no fault of the owners or the property. For their part, they were very communicative with us and made sure to follow up with us and talk to the electric company and let us know all the updates.

My babies and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again to experience the tree house..!!

Better than we expected. Though we booked for the 2 of us, there is so much room for all our kids and grands too. Will recommend to our whole family for a getaway

We absolutely loved this cabin! Its very clean and the owners really pay attention to details. There were fresh flowers, a snack basket, some drinks in the fridge and most importantly...coffee for morning! I would definitely recommend this property to friends.

The host was very nice and understanding. The house was perfect, they included things that we would have never imagined that we would have needed, but it was all included.

We have all the positive things to say about this cabin, and the host! My friend and I booked this cabin for a quiet weekend in to relax and recharge and enjoy the beauty of the Poconos in fall- this cabin could not have been more perfect! It was super cozy, and had everything we could possibly need. We loved the sun room and screened-in front porch. The outdoor area for a fire pit was perfect. There were even games and puzzles! We adored the deer that were around. It was quiet and beautiful. Check in and out was a breeze. Instructions were very clear and easy. The host provided every amenity we could possibly need, and was so kind. There were even fresh flowers around the house, how wonderful! Highly recommend!!

The cabin was very cozy. We liked the privacy with no neighbors in view. Deer visited almost every morning, and there's a hiking trail within walking distance from house, and nice fire circle/sitting area. The sunroom was our favorite place for sitting inside.

The cabin was absolutely the perfect get away for my husband and I to have our first weekend alone since having our son. It was quiet, clean and relaxing. The hosts were amazing and so welcoming. We would love to go back with our son!

We loved staying here for our annual getaway, the cabin was so cute and the host was very accommodating! We loved the fire pit and the string lights out back, and the kids enjoyed the tree house and hammock. We felt comfortable there and everyone had a great time!

Enjoyed a wonderful July weekend at the cabin with family. Went on two local hikes both about 30 minutes away, Bushkill Falls and the AT trail. Played lots of games, enjoyed a fire outside, and meals together. Was hot weekend but the cabin was in the shade and cool with lots of fans and air conditioning. Overall wonderful stay. Thank you for hosting us.

Only a couple nights the house is clean and the host is lovely

My wife and I stayed for 3 days. It was really lovely. The cabin is cozy, spacious, and stocked with everything you need. The host is wonderful and so easy to communicate with. For anyone who wants a cabin experience, this is for you. Kudos to the family that lives there, they are more than prepared for anything, but know how to have a great time as well.

Our family had a lovely time here. Unfortunately, we had a very hot week. The cabin was comfortable with the AC. There were a ton of games to play and we enjoyed playing some new to us games. Deer roamed through the property which we loved to watch. We ventured to towns and had fun.

Simultaneously secluded and close to attractions, this was the perfect place to disconnect for a few days

My friends and I will usually rent a cabin at nice a year or so, mostly staying in the Poconos or Catskills. We found this location on VRBO and loved it. The treehouse was a cool addition, made for some good pictures. The backyard was a good size and had a nice-sized fire pit and plenty of wood. The rooms were a good size, we all slept comfortably, and everything was very clean. The owner of the location was very easy to converse with and communicated well without being overbearing. I would 100% recommend staying here for a group of friends, a family, or even just a couple.

We had a short stay for Spring Break. This is central to a lot of Poconos locations. Bush kill Falls is about 25 minutes. There are more than enough beds for a family. The tree house is a good hang out for kids. It is also pet friendly (small dog on our trip). There are lots of Legos and games for kids. Hope to go again later in the season.

The property was fabulous. It was great for couples, adults, or families and the local hikes are amazing. On top of the property being great, it was so nice to have some things that I missed from the early days of renting homes. There were snacks left, simple necessities, games, puzzles, and firewood. It was so great to have amazing and responsive hosts when we had questions. Thank you!!!!

We had a great weekend stay at this cabin. The property owner was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly. The weather could have been a little nicer, but they had plenty of games and puzzles to keep us entertained while we waited for the rain to stop. This house came with everything anyone could have forgotten when packing for this trip. I would definitely return:)

We loved the cabin . Having coffee in the back porch in am with all the sun looking out into the woods . Exploring the property and treehouse was fun . The fireplace was a nice treat while watching movies .

We came for the weekend from nyc with for a birthday getaway. It was just perfect! The property was clean and the host had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The fireplace was great and the heated sunroom in the back was our favorite part!. We brought our dog who had a better time than we did exploring nature in the backyard! We had a great time staying at this property. There was so much to do just on the cabin grounds. There’s a wonderful fire pit that we sat around and talked and made s’mores. They have everything you need for your stay. It was a great weekend and we would definitely choose to stay here again.

An absolutely excellent and peaceful stay. Sheilagh was very responsive both pre and during stay. Home was well stocked (even toiletries, coffee, wood, etc). Enjoyed the fireplace tremendously and left a fire good to go for the next guest. Our favorite - the sunroom! Watched football on Sunday in our peaceful surroundings. Loved the outside lights. Would like to book a last minute stay when a snow storm is coming to enjoy from the room. Bed was very comfortable, windows in good working order. Great dinner at Butter. Wanted to do Chef’s tasting menu at Memorytown but called too late for reservations. A fabulous time - highly recommend.

We had a truly amazing stay at Sheilagh’s cozy cabin! She went above and beyond to make our anniversary getaway special, from the beautiful string lights to the thoughtful touches she added to the space for us. The cabin itself was perfect and just what we needed for a relaxing escape. Sheilagh’s communication was excellent, and she was always responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to return, hopefully with our kids next time, to enjoy this wonderful retreat again. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay! The cabin was charming and well appointed although we mostly were outside and just enjoyed the picture perfect view and fire pit!
