CHECK IN:
This is a self-check in property. A lock box is provided with one set of keys for the duration of your stay. A fee of $50 will be charged for lockouts, late check outs, or failure to return keys to the lock box.
SMOKING:
Absolutely NO smoking of any kind is allowed on the premise; indoor or especially outdoors. Fires are always a concern on the mountain.
PETS:
Two dogs, up to 20lbs, are permitted on the property There is a $75 pet fee PER dog (max 2) and a fully refundable deposit of $250. Please keep dogs off furniture and beds. And if leaving the premise, all dogs must be crated. When outdoors, please keep dogs close by and leashed at all times. We have hungry wildlife.
FIREPLACE:
A complimentary bundle of firewood is provided each stay. Additional bundles will be available on site at $10 a bundle. Please make sure the flue is open before use. After lighting logs, the inner screen door MUST be kept closed. Only natural wood or compact firelogs are allowed in the fireplace. NO foreign objects, such as plastic, treated wood, or kitchen scraps, should be burned.
SAUNA:
Please use the sauna at your discretion. Minors should always be accompanied by an adult, as the heating element is exposed and VERY HOT. And the stones remain hot long after the sauna is switched off. Remove any jewelry prior to entry. When pouring water over hot stones, please keep your hands clear of the rising steam to avoid burns. Before using the sauna, please use the provided "Perch sauna towels" (green Turkish towels) when seated on wood benches. These can be found on the water station table and/or in the hall closet.
HOT TUB:
The hot tub is covered and locked with a combination lock. It is for the protection of minors, who should always be accompanied by an adult in the hot tub. To enter, the lock must initially be removed by an adult. Please shower/rinse before using the hot tub. No soaps, shampoos, salts, aromatherapy oils, or bubbles. Oils and makeup can clog tub filters and create unsanitary water conditions. If the water quality is deemed unhealthy or unsafe for the next use, an additional service fee of $175 will be charged. Help us, help you. ;) No standing, climbing or laying on top of the stowaway deck. Please make sure to roll back the cover after each use. This will keep your tub toasty and clean.
GLASSWARE: Please NO glassware outdoors, in or around the hot tub or sauna. For optimal enjoyment and safety, acrylic/plastic cups have been provided for outdoor use.
PARTIES & NOISE:
No music or loud noise after 10pm please. No parties or events are permitted on the property. In the event of a party or large gathering, you will be charged for any costs related to damages and additional cleaning. Violation of these rules can result in immediate eviction from the property. We kindly ask that you treat this property as you would your own home, and to respect the neighbors. They ultimately are responsible for allowing us to provide you with an exceptional stay.
THERMOSTAT:
Set to desired temperature during your stay and back to 65° when checking out.
BBQ:
Please clean the grill and close the propane tank after each use, to avoid additional cleaning and propane refill charges of $100.
KITCHEN CLEANUP:
Please clean the kitchen after every meal by washing and putting away dishes used during your stay, in order to avoid additional cleaning fees.
TRASH & RECYCLING:
Black bin: Please only include household trash, food taste, food containers, and bagged animal waste.
Blue bin: Flattened cardboard, paper products (newspaper and magazines) aluminum, tin, styrofoam, lightweight plastics and metals, glass bottles and jars.
The following items are not accepted: Electronics or batteries, dirt, rock, constructive debris, and hazardous waste.
