Pequot Lakes Cabin w/ Dock on Loon Lake!

The cabin was nice, other then being a bit smaller then its pictures implied. Everything was super clean and cutely decorated. The problem starts with how we weren't notified of a house being built next door. Our day by the lake enjoying the view and trying to relax was ruined by nail guns, music and men generously using the f-word all day. It would have been nice to have that information so we could have chosen to go elsewhere instead of being next to a construction zone. We paid a lot of money to stay there and frankly, it was a waste.The firepit had a dangerous amount of chairs placed around it to the point where getting in and out of the circle of chairs and rocks became tricky and with a fire going it was dangerous so we had to squish chairs together in order to make a decent path to get out. Overall, the cabin was nice, but we won't be staying again.

This is our 2nd stay at Loon Lake and we will be back! Cabin is exactly as described. Clean, well organized and a perfect setting right on the lake. Check in and check out was seamless with the owner just a phone call away. Boat dock on property is easily accessible with a public landing (also easily accessible) less than a mile away. If you are looking for a quiet get away yet close to city amenities as/if needed this is the place! We will be back!

Perfect place for a girlfriend’s getaway. From the moment I booked, received excellent communication. Cabin was clean and just as shown in photos. Had everything you could ask for and more! Would highly recommend.

I picked a place close to home due to caring for animals there on one of our favorite lakes Superb stay and the weather finally cooperated after a couple of days. Wonderful place with a sandy swim area. My girls and I had a great time and owner was wonderful to work with ! Jill, Shelby and Aurie

Lots of updates to the the cabin. Our 3rd time staying here. Kid friendly makes it more fun for everyone.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We had a group of 6 adults and 2 kids under 3 years old. The bedrooms were a bit tight but all of the beds were comfy. We were outside most of the time so the outdoor spaces were perfect for our group. The pontoon screen porch was a hit! It was great to be so close to the water. There is a parking area for a truck and pontoon trailer plus room for 3 vehicles. The cabin has everything you need.Mark was a great host.

What a great place to stay when you want a quiet getaway. At the same time this beautiful cabin is a short drive (less than 10 min) from restaurants, shopping and coffee. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in Pequot Lakes. The lake is awesome for swimming and kayaking - my kids were able to kayak across it by themselves (they are experienced kayakers though). We had a bit of rain and cold weather but were able to occupy ourselves inside watching the Olympics so that was not a problem. We had fun in Nisswa and the kids did the turtle races in the pouring rain!

We had an awesome annual family get together on 4th of July weekend. Wonderful place, everything we needed was provided. Very clean and well kept property.

We had a wonderful time at the Midnight Loon! The cabin was the perfect size for our group of four adults, offering everything we needed for a relaxing lake vacation. The outdoor space was a real highlight—quaint, peaceful, and just steps from the lake. It felt private and secluded, without neighbors feeling too close. The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and cozy. Whether we were relaxing in one of the multiple outdoor spaces or enjoying the view from inside, the Midnight Loon was the perfect spot for a memorable getaway. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind and recharge in a peaceful, picturesque setting. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely love this location! Cabin was very nicely decorated and clean. Had everything ready and what we would need right there. The loons and views were great. Will for sure return!
