Peaceful Wells Retreat w/ Deck & Water Views

Had a great stay. The weather was just right. It was wonderful to sleep with the windows open and you could hear the surf at high tide. The view was amazing. We tried out the Irish Pub in town and were lucky to be there on music night. Great entertainment. Being a York resident for over 30 years, it was wonderful to be back in the area and enjoy the fresh air,

This cabin is really unique. We loved sitting on the deck and watching all the wildlife on the marsh. We were married in Kennebunkport during our stay here, but we had our photographer come to the cabin while we got ready and did our “first look”. The backdrop of the marsh and the rustic cabin made for amazing photos!We happened to have binoculars with us, but it would be nice for guests if there was a pair provided for watching all the wildlife. My only other recommendation would be to upgrade the futon/sofa mattresses. They were pretty worn thin and it made trying to relax and watch tv uncomfortable. Other than that the bed and other furnishings were comfortable, the screens on the windows were great to be able to open everything up and get a nice breeze through the rooms. Overall a great stay and I also wanted to mention we had really good communication with the property management.

We stayed for along weekend with our grandchildren. We really enjoyed the view and watching all of the wildlife. The unique location was quiet, yet convenient to shopping, beaches and restaurants. The cottage was comfortable and had a real cabin vibe.

We had a wonderful stay at the Artist’s Shack. It was so peaceful and in such a beautiful spot. We biked to the beach and the cabin had what we needed to rest, relax, and cook. I highly recommend this spot!

I stayed there with my daughter-in-law and granddaughter who had never been to Maine before. We loved this place, hated to leave there this morning. Views, accessibility to beaches, etc all wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

Our fifth stay at this charming cottage that never disappoints

Loved the location right on the marsh, it was a perfect place to relax. I really enjoyed watching the birds in the marsh while having my morning coffee on the deck. This cottage is the perfect mix of cozy and quaint with a little boho mixed in. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature and also be close to town this is the place for you!

Nice peaceful location but bathroom and bedroom were separated from each other by the deck. When we had to use the facilities we had to walk across the deck and dress up and put on our shoes to get to the bathroom.

This place was great! Such a unique cabin that made us feel immersed into the landscape and local wildlife. We enjoyed watching the blue heron and cranes in the tidal marsh behind the house! Very clean and reliable communication with the host as well!We will be returning for sure!I highly recommend this place!
