Peaceful Rocky Mountain Lake Cabin with Stunning Views and Fishing Lake Access!

Very charming & a beautiful property. Our host Kristine was very helpful with suggestions on dining & areas nearby. We have a video of a moose & her calf; a yearling that came right up to the back deck; & video of an eagle flyover! We all 3 loved this VRBO

Nestled atop a beautiful private lake/pond the home did not disappoint. It was clean and inviting, and plenty of activities to do on and near the property. The stroll around the lake was so pleasant during the early morning hours, and watching the sunset over the lake was splendid! We took a very short ride into Black Hawk to do a bit of gambling and fun, strolled the town and visited the tiny quaint shops so beautifully decorated. The town streets (even though only early June is decked-out already for Founder's Day and the Fourth of July). We will certainly be back.

We were so comfortable and relaxed here! It was very nice fishing on the lake and seeing a moose both afternoons! We did a tour at the Hidee mines and this was a great place to stay nearby.

I reserved this place for my elderly dad, daughter & 12 yr old nephew. Everyone absolutely loved it there. The views, the moose, the fishing. It was all a huge hit! Place had everything that they needed.

This is a beautiful get-away! The porch sitting at the lake's edge is wonderful and set up well with a grill and many chairs and tables. The area is so quiet and relaxing. The host is very communicative and helpful! She offered multiple suggestions for places to eat in the area. The kitchen was appointed fully with appliances, tools, etc. We spent two comfortable days and nights here - we highly recommend this VRBO!

The pictures don’t do it justice! The view of the lake is amazing. The house was exactly what I want in a Colorado mountain cabin.10/10!

All good. I did not stay there, my grown sons and family did. I did not see the inside, so I cannot weigh in. The host was perfect, good communicator. Our family was very satisfied with everything. Thank you!

Kristine was a very gracious host who went above and beyond to help us with things to do in the area. Communication was prompt and very friendly. They were a friendly and lovely couple. The house and location are outstanding. The views are much better than the pictures describe. If you want some peace and quiet on a beautiful lake with close proximity to Nederland and Peak to Peak then this is your place.

This was a wonderful vacation for a family wedding and reunion where we all met and stayed at different parts of Blackhawk. The view from this location was absolutely stunning of the mountains and lake horn. I highly recommend it.

Great house tucked away in the mountains! Host communicated well and the house was in great condition. If you are coming from Denver, the house can be a bit out of the way, but also had great views of the mountains and forests. We had a great time
