Our stay at the Cabin was perfect. It is a well-appointed log cabin. Very comfortable, property is fantastic. Dana was very responsive and although we did not have any issues, I am certain they would have been addressed quickly. We could not have asked for a better place for our weekend getaway. Would highly recommend this cabin in the woods.
This cabin worked out perfect for our relaxing winter weekend getaway. We were super happy with everything, loved the rustic feel of the cabin. It has a very remote and quiet feel but in a quick 5 minute drive you can be enjoying things in downtown Spooner. The location was perfect for us. Would love to return in the summer!
Very quiet and relaxing property. Everything worked out well. Easy communication and flawless process.
My wife and I brought our 2 kids and 2 friends of theirs, as well as our 2 dogs. The 2 teen boys loved the basement area to hang out and play video games to wind down, and the rest of us enjoyed the outside areas during the day and the common area inside at night, playing card games after a fire. The cabin is well kept and clean, and it is situated in a secluded, wooded area, but close enough to town for quick trips to get supplies or a visit to the local brewery. Utensils and dishes are well stocked, and the indoor griddle was great for cooking up big breakfasts. The dogs had plenty of room to roam with the surrounding trails, and there are couple of spots to sit and enjoy the view of the river…especially with a cup of coffee in the morning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and Dana is a great host.
Great cabin for quite, fishing, games and family time!
This cabin worked well for our group this past weekend. There was room for everyone to sleep and relax. The firepit area was enjoyable to hang out around. Overall is was a great place to stay. One thing I overlooked was that there was no Air Conditioning.
My husband and I needed a getaway to relax and recharge. This place did the trick! Very private and secluded.
Cozy, quiet place to stay during Birkie week! Dana was awesome, and communicated with us quickly to make a check in change to avoid winter storm Olivia. So grateful. Thank you!
Perfect area and the cabin was so comfy and cozy! Loved it. Right near town and tons of fun bars and restaurants
Loved the river and the canoes/kayaks provided. It was pretty damp so it was great to be able to have a little indoor fire for the little kid with us who really wanted to roast a marshmellow. Lots of puzzles/games/movies etc and the kitchen is really well stocked. Beautiful spot with the fall colors. We had a great time!
This place was so cute. We loved the option of having a smart TV, having a clean bathroom and kitchen, and a relaxing wood burning stove. We really had a great time hiking the property and visiting the town too. All in all I would recommend this stay to someone who doesn’t mind a little rustic experience, isn’t afraid of being cautious of bear and who loves nature and appreciating natures beauty. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We had a lovely stay. Cool evenings, cozy wood burning stove, brats on the grill, cold beer, ATV trails. Life is good at this Log Cabin. Thank you!
My boyfriend and I rented this cabin so he could go bear hunting and it was way better than expected. The cabin was very cozy and the walking trails were great for us and our dog. The river views were awesome
The cabin is set on a huge plot of land with multiple walking trails and two fire pits. We spent most of our time outdoors either relaxing on the swing, exploring, hanging out by the firepit, kayaking, and fishing. Cabin is clean and charming and has lots of room for relaxing. The owner adds a lot of bonus touches to make your stay even better. We loved it!
Lovely space for those looking to be secluded. No A/C, but a great breeze with windows open. Bathroom is on lower level so plan for that if sleeping in open loft upstairs.
Really liked the location and ambience of this cabin. I would definately stay there again. Big negative was the Weber charcoal grill. I was not clean and needs replacing. Other than that it was a good deal.
