Loved our stay at your cabin. Clean and the perfect spot to explore the Crouch and Garden Valley area. Enjoyed the hot springs pool and restaurant at Terrace Lake. We will definitely return to this cabin.
This was a great place to stay - even in the winter - the roads were plowed, so with 4 wheel drive we had no problem getting here - only a short drive from a few hot springs which was our goal!
The house itself is fine. Comfortable and clean. I really was hoping for a good view, but all the windows look out at propane tanks or roads. The big problem was that I got no email telling me the address, or key code. And I had to call and wait on hold for almost an hour to get this information. Which is very problematic when the cabin is located in an area with very poor /non existing cell coverage.
The cabin was perfect for our family. We went white water rafting, ate at the little resort restaurant and had a bond fire at the house. It was fun for my kids to see the deer eating in the evening right by the house. Perfect place in Garden Valley.
Great cabin, for a weekend get away. Clean, comfortable, and easy to get to.
Photos are deceptive. House was so filthy we never made it inside. We will never use vrbo again
Great little cabin- very comfortable. As a mention- bring every you need as nothing is provided beyond dishes and linens. No coffee, fridge completely empty and no hair dryer. Great location- private setting.
The cabin was idilic and clean! We used it for a weekend family getaway with our 4 and 5 year old to go up and play in the snow, however, that area hadn't had any snow in several weeks and had been raining, so the snow was not very good, sadly. We very much enjoyed playing board games by the fireplace and watching the elk walk by each day! The only 2 things that could have made it better was a curtain for the sliding glass door for the bunkbed room where our kids stayed (made nap time and staying in bed difficult), and a note in the binder about calling the pool at Terrace Lakes ahead of time to see if it's full. The hot springs pool at Terrace Lakes was a primary reason we chose this cabin and we were not aware that the pool had a limit in occupancy. No where on their website or in the cabin binder does it suggest to call ahead. We took the kids down in the afternoon after nap, and when we arrived, we were told it was a 2 hour wait! Of course we couldn't make that happen. The kids were deeply let down. Fortunately, we were able to get in the very next morning on our way out when there were much less people. So my suggestion is to call the pool ahead of time (at least 2 hours) to see how busy they are, how long of a wait it is, and get on the waiting list. Otherwise, we loved the cabin, the board games (my son discovered Battleship which we played many rounds), the cozy fire, and peacefulness of the woods.
Property was amazing! The home had everything we needed, it was clean, nice, & cozy! We seen herds of elk every day, it was a nice get away to relax and enjoy a change of scenery.
Our stay was great! The house fit 7 of us perfect.
