Welcome to Tuckaleechee Retreat Center, a Christian non-profit, which is home to the National Office for Children's Bible Ministries, Inc. Stayed Aug 29, 2024Our collegiate team stayed in the Bear Lodge up the property, while our staff stayed here. It was perfect for our staff of 4. We do think some critters joined us in the house, as a bag of food was bitten/ripped open and droppings left behind, but maybe that should be expected in the woods? That was a bit unsettling, but otherwise a great cabin and stay!

Stayed Sep 25, 2022We rented Hemlock Haven for a week of hiking the National Park and visiting Gatlinburg. It is a nice log cabin with 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the hot tub is a nice feature we weren't really looking for but enjoyed. We did experience a couple of maintenance issues during our stay, but the property quickly and professionally took care of everything. Would definitely stay again. The property is a Christian retreat center, and that is reflected in the decor, which we enjoyed. Alcohol is not allowed on the property which was fine with us. It is 15 minutes from an entrance to the National Park and about 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. Townsend is an interesting place in and of itself with some good restaurants and things to do and see.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Overall we were happy with our stay. Only thing was the fireplace didn't work but everything else was as described.
