We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect! The location was great. Trish’s mountain diner had the best breakfast!

The ambient noise from the stream was wonderfully relaxing to listen to. Overall the cabin was very clean with the exception of some of the kitchenware. The bed was a bit on the soft side but overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing place. Proximity to Gatlinburg and the Smokies NP is great without getting caught up in touristy Gatlinburg.

Room was great porch was amazing with the sounds of water coming down the mountain hot tub was good touch pleasant place to let got and unwind. But there were a few concerns WiFi was very difficult to connect to or signal was very poor fan was not able to be used cause dust animal debrie was caked not good for allergies bits a pieces of dog treats and food found in living area and around the grounds poison oak and ivy found very frequently. We are thankful for the opportunity’s and were able to have a great stay overall Area was great.

Awesome cabin and trip.

Everything was perfect… the bed was the best part. The jacuzzi tub, and hot tub were added bonuses… at night you could hear the creek. Will absolutely stay there again.

The hot tub was wonderful and plenty hot. Melinda always answered us immediately when we had a question. The cabin was so cozy with a comfortable bed. We couldn't get the fire going because noone sold kindling. So bring your own to enjoy the fireplace. Our English Bulldog loved going up and down the steps! And every window had a beautiful view. Our favorite was the creek behind the cabin. We'll be back.

Cabin was as advertised. Quiet location 25 minutes from Gatlinburg. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The creek behind it was the best part. It was great to sit by during the day and enjoyed listening to the running water while we relaxed in the hot tub. Overall, a nice weekend!

This was our first time staying in this cabin (but we have used the host's other cabin 2 times). The host, Melinda, is always very quick to communicate and is very friendly. The cabin was immaculate and cozy. The mattress is super comfortable. Housekeeping did forget to leave sheets for the sleeper sofa, but some were dropped off shortly after communicating with the host. We love how the cabin is tucked away, and nestled up against a creek. We hope to come back next year!

The hot tub on the back porch was amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our holiday meal. We did feel that there needs to be better lighting on the back porch when using the hot tub after dark.

The cabin was clean and cozy. Although we did need to open the front and back door to let it air out for a few minutes when we first arrived. There are a few things that we needed in the kitchen. Spoons and pot holders but most items were provided. It would have been nice to have some additional lighting on the back porch maybe a string of ambiance lights or maybe a motion sensor light outside the back porch as we did have a bear walk thru that area. Overall it was a nice location and a nice cabin for the 2 of us.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was just perfect for me, my husband, and our 2 fur babies. The bed is very comfortable , the kitchen is fully stocked, and there are plenty of amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Melinda was a perfect host and responded to all our questions very promptly. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quaint couples getaway!

This cabin is at the end of the lane with a few other cabins and perfect for parking and maneuvering our pick up. Porch front and back were lovely to enjoy both morning and evening. Flat drive off the main road. We stayed here with our small children and they loved the cabin and especially the creek.

Great location for peaceful stay in the Great Smoky Mountains. Hiking and fishing opportunities abound around this cabin. If you are inclined to go there, easy access to Gatlinburg. Cabin is very comfortable, with beautiful stream right behind house.

The cabin was perfect for our weekend trip. It was warm and cozy and clean! The bed was comfortable and the cabin was well maintained. We enjoyed the closed in back porch to relax and listen to the babbling brook. It is just far enough from the city to relax but close enough to enjoy the sights. We would highly recommend this place to anyone interested.

Just far away enough from the hustle and bustle to have peace and quiet after a busy day playing! Hot tub was great! Really just an enjoyable week in the mountains! Perfect for my 9yo niece and I, but definitely a couples retreat!

Very much as described, the screened back porch overlooking the roaring stream was the best. All the furnishings, appliances were in order. Small attentions to detail were obvious. The only concern was thought it could have been cleaner, hence the four stars. We would return. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

The property was nice. It's quiet and at the end of a dead end road so that kept any traffic noise away. The cabin is about 25 mins from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so the location is ideal if you want to be close enough to everything without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.I don't know if the cabin hadn't been rented in a while or not but, when we walked in, there was a musty smell which, we found once we were home, permeated everything we brought with us. Also, I was bitten up severely our 3rd night there. I don't know what did it but it happened while I slept and I woke up with 25-30 tiny, itchy bites. There was nothing in the bed (as far as bugs) so we're really not sure what happened. Overall, it was a great place for the 2 of us to stay.

Location was great cabin needs some TLC some plumbing issues as well as not the cleanest cabin and we thought it was expensive for for what you get. All things considered it was very peaceful quit and my wife and I enjoyed our time with our dog there.

This cabin is perfect size for two people. It is clean and quiet. The screened in back porch with hot tub provides great privacy. It was awesome to sit and enjoy the running creek not 20 feet from the deck. Beautiful wooded area.

Our stay at all about love was fantastic. Check in was easy and the cabin was just as described. The creek was as soothing as the hot tub and jacuzzi tub! The rhododendrons by the cabin are in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was a great stay. The cabin had just what we needed for a brief getaway. The location was perfect and away from the busyness of Gatlinburg. The king bed was comfy. The only things I could say that were improvable but not a big deal- the WiFi wasn’t great and kept disconnect constantly (every 2min) so we could never watch the downstairs TV. We also could not locate where to connect for MP3/speaker as stated in the listing for the back porch. We would definitely stay here again. Do yourself a favor and eat at the Greasy Spoon up the road and the Mountain Cafe.

This is a perfect getaway cabin in the woods. It’s close enough to all the tourist attractions but also out enough that you have peace and seclusion. Would definitely stay here again. The sounds of the running water in the creek was one of my favorite parts.

The burble of Dunns creekwater sliding thru its rocky bed just a few feet from a wonderful hot tub porch just adds to the ambience of this cabin & loft to snooze in. The fireplace makes short work of the cold overnights, & we and our two fuzzy kiddos made it the best 4 days in quite awhile. G-burg is about 12 mi Sw directly down 321 to enjoy trams and chairlifts to the sky, it seemed! The Mccurry’s were good hosts and answered any Q’s on the VRBO chat. The Roku TV was hampered by an erratic internet signal - had to be reset a few times. All in all we had a truly magnificent time & hated to leave this Shangri-La. We’ll be back - thanks guys!

Overall it was a lovely place, not quite as secluded as i imagined but we had a great time. The only negative i have is how far it is from town. I thought the listing said minutes from Gatlinburg but its a good 30min drive. But i liked it and would definitely stay again!!

We had a great time exploring the area. We got to spend time together with family for Thanksgiving. It was nice to take our puppies with us. Everyone was so kind to us and even offered water to our dogs. Love Gatlinburg and surrounding area.
