Our cabin was spotless and private. It was homey and accommodating. We loved our stay and we found the owner to be kind and conscientious. We had a wonderful stay!
This property was picture-perfect and completely as advertised! The owner was fantatsically helpful and friendly, really made our stay! We used it as a base to visit the local areas and wish we would've had many more days to enjoy! Already planning to return!
My wife and I hadn’t had a vacation in over 5 years together so we booked this beautiful cabin, paid for it ahead of time, and booked it well in advance. The instructions were that the homeowner would give us the door code the day of check in. We drove 11 hours from home and hadn’t heard from the homeowner so we decided to call. They had no idea we had even booked our stay and already had guests checked in. In their defense, they did offer to let us stay in their personal home on the property to make up for the mistake, however this was a romantic vacation to ourselves. The only remedy that was offered to us was to cancel our reservation and refund our money, with us stranded 11 hours away from home. This was New Years weekend so there was NOTHING else available besides motels and hotels. The homeowners were very sweet in offering us the first floor of their personal home but this is 2022, double bookings should not happen and rather than trying to make it right, they simply cancelled our reservation and refunded our money.
My husband and I stayed in this cabin on our honeymoon. The hosts were more than generous with their time and property. The cabin looked brand new on the inside and was perfectly cozy for a party of 2!
Beautiful little cabin tucked away at the back of a well manicured horse ranch with a lovely entrance with well lit roads, a large deck overlooking a pretty river and acres of mountain paths to explore. So much to do in the area that you don’t have time to do everything! Lovely people own this place and will make your stay quite enjoyable!
Just what we wanted, secluded, but beautiful property with very friendly hosts. We really enjoyed it.
Super clean cabin. This has been the cleanest cabin we've stayed at. It was the perfect size. Bed was very comfy. This cabin has everything you need. Hosts were very communicative and making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Time was just too short.
The owners were fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend this location to others.
We stayed at George and Beth's horse farm in doe valley because it was far away but not too far away. It's an hour from grandfather mountain which we made a couple day trips to. The cabin sits up on a hill of the property secluded in the trees. Its exactly what you would want in a cabin. My small family would love to return their again one day. If you want a relaxing getaway with attentive hosts to every need then this is the spot.
This quaint little cabin was perfect for our needs and the two of us. We were in the area to attend the NASCAR night races at Bristol. The farm is beautiful and we loved seeing the horses. Best of all we had a wonderful visit with the owners, Joe and Beth, that included several special treats. They are great hosts and very attentive to any needs of their quests. We would definitely return again.
