When you walk up to Panther Lodge you’ll cross a large front porch with plenty of seating where you can enjoy the view from your home. Right from the front porch, you’ll get an idea of the many massive Canadian logs that went into building this lodge masterpiece.

Enter the large great room with 28’ ceilings and a stone wood-burning fireplace and you’ll know this is a lodge like no other. One of the most impressive things in the main living room is the staircase made entirely of split whole logs that leads to the upstairs loft. Tasteful alpine and New Mexican décor lends a special warmth and charm to every room in this incredible home. Large and plentiful Euroline glass doors and windows let in plenty of sunlight and natural beauty. No matter what time of year you visit, you and your guests will enjoy gathering in this great room to watch cable TV or a movie on the DVD player. It’s also an excellent space for games and discussing plans for your next day of mountain fun. Panther Lodge also has free Wi-Fi so you can stay in touch with friends back home.

Panther Lodge is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home that sleeps up to eight when the sleeper sofa in the loft is used. The open-concept design of the main living space gives the home a sense of connectivity. No one is ever out of touch unless they want to be.

Your kitchen is everything you’d expect in a home of the caliber and imagination of Panther Lodge. Lengthy countertops give you plenty of prep space and you’ll find every appliance, dish, pan, and a piece of serving ware you need to prepare and serve yummy snacks or full course meals for your group. Brand new LG appliances – including a refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher – are all at your fingertips at Panther Lodge!

Since Panther Lodge is so close to Grindstone Lake, someone in your group may catch a fish you’d like to grill. There’s a gas grill just off the back deck where you can cook up fish, steaks, or maybe a chicken breast. You also have the option of dining out on the natural picnic table out back. Follow the lighted stone walkway to get there. Or, you could dine on your back deck. Food tastes especially great in the alpine air. Of course, Panther Lodge has a handsome indoor dining area that seats six. If you need additional seats, just set guests up at the handy breakfast bar with seating for four.

There are so many things to see and do in and around Ruidoso, by the time night rolls around you’ll be pleasantly tired and ready for bed. Your primary retreat features a comfortable king-sized bed with large windows that give you a beautiful morning view. There’s a flat-screen TV in your room in case you want to catch a little late-night programming. Your nearby primary en suite has both a Jacuzzi tub and a separate walk-in shower. You’ll love the pleasure of getting ready for your day in this beautiful bathroom.

Panther Lodge’s second bedroom is also outfitted with a queen-sized bed. Massive beams and walls give this room a true mountain feeling. Guests in this room have French doors leading out onto the covered deck. When the sun goes down, slip out on this deck to listen to the sounds of nature and watch the stars come out in the beautiful night sky. You’ll see more stars than you can imagine.

The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed, TV, and large windows overlooking the deck and forest. A good night’s sleep is practically guaranteed in this attractive, secluded room.

Guests in the second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combination and vanity with plenty of space to spread out toiletries and get ready each morning.

Up in the Panther Lodge loft is a bar area and comfortable sitting space where you can enjoy a cocktail on a wintery evening. If needed, this couch makes out into a bed for extra guests.

Panther Lodge has a washer and dryer so you can keep everyone in clean clothes. You’ll also find air-conditioning units to keep guests cool in summer if needed.
