Quietness
Owl's Nest was the perfect little old style Tahoe cabin. We were just 2 people and it was the perfect size for us. The key code was not the right one but AvantStay had been texting us helpful tips as we arrived and luckily, there was a number to call that was available 24/7. Turned out the code had been changed locally between the last renters and us but the code had not been updated into the system in time before we arrived. The local manager was quickly brought onto the phone call and provided us with the correct code and we got in after that....they solved the problem efficiently and were very friendly, so it turned out to be no big deal. After that we had a fantastic stay and I would happily stay at Owl's Nest again and hope to do so as soon as weather and time allow! Perhaps they'd run out but bring your own coffee filters as there weren't any, otherwise...the kitchen had all the basics.
This adorable cabin is in a great location! Walking distance to restaurants, trail heads, and the lake. Super clean and well stocked. A great place to stay for sure!
Secluded, nice neighborhood
This was a great cabin located in a neighborhood that was close to a state park / beaches/ hiking trails.
Private, quiet, comfortable. Low ceiling in bedroom, not enough towels, had to fight shower curtain to take shower, no pantry to put food
Great place for the price and had all the amenities needed. The only problem we had was ants being present in the living room. A prior review metioned the same, but it seems it hasn't yet been addressed.
Great location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay and have nothing but great things to say about this rental. Thank you for hosting us!
Rustic & Charming, absolutely everything needed for a 2 week stay for hiking & mountain biking, thank you!
Nice cabin in Tahoma. A little on the small side but very cozy. Check in very easy. Good parking. Wood stove. Firewood provided. Bbq on front deck. Tv with streaming Roku. Small kitchen but has everything you need. Fits up to four people. Any more and not enough beds. Will consider coming back again for sure.
Cabin was clean and welcoming. Stairs to bedroom are super steep and unfortunately slipped twice. Claw foot tub is difficult to get in and out of and needs a suction mat to prevent slipping. Would also recommend towel hooks. The coffee shop just down the street is a nice walk . Overall a nice stay.
Great house great location. Nice grill. Only complaint: house did not have screens or screen door. So open air meant bugs. Screens would make it.
