Overgaard Cabin w/ Pool Table & Incredible View

Cabin was perfect location with beautiful views. Host was very nice and helpful. Cabin was nice and clean.

Could not have asked for a better experience! The property is a perfect get away with a beautiful view both inside and out. It’s close to off-road trails and a nice wrap around porch and plenty of things to keep us busy on the rain days. Property manager was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. All in all 15 out of 10 stars. We had an extra special time here and can’t wait to visit again!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful cabin for a long weekend. The views are amazing and the owner was very attentive to everything we needed even provided us with local tips on where to go for food and entertainment. We spent alot of time in the game room. Only negative was beyond the owners control and he warned us ahead of time that it was occurring which was the internet being down. This is a fantastic property I would definitely stay again.

Our family had a great time up at this cabin. It was very clean and spacious. We had lots of fun playing pool, shuffleboard and ping pong. We enjoyed going on hikes and enjoying the stars out on the deck in the evenings. Kenny was a great host and willing to help whenever. This is a beautiful cabin surrounded by amazing scenery. We will definitely be back!

My family and I wanted to get away for Easter weekend, and we were very impressed with all this cabin had to offer. Our kids were not bored, and enjoyed all the amazing features. Beautiful scenic view, best we have seen! We will return! Thank you for allowing us to stay at this cabin!

Our family had a great time with each other playing pool, ping pong and shuffleboard. We also made our yearly Christmas cookies and didn’t have to worry about bringing all the pans. A wonderful bonus was watching the deer and birds at a water tank right out the window. We even saw Javelina. Kenny, the property manager, made sure we had everything we needed. Great place to chill out!

Property was exactly as decribed -- very accommodating, ample room, with all the amenities. the downstairs game room was great for family fun. Kenny was phenomenal to have as a guest contact - met us upon check-in to give a quick overview and provided great communication throughout the stay. Property is in a great location, perched high above with fantastic views. Wildlife frequented the property during our stay -- kids loved it! As for location, very short drive (~1 hr) made for great day trips covering the gammut of local attractions. So much to see and experience in northern AZ; and nighttime back at the property made for a great dinner/grilling/campfire end to pretty incredible days.

We had a wedding in Heber and many family members were in-town; seven of us rented this place. It was perfect for us at night with four bedrooms but it also easily absorbed 10 other family members that joined us for games during the day. There aren't a lot of dinning options but there are a few burger joints and grocery stores. Fortunately, this place has a full kitchen and two refrigerators, so cooking was easy to do and a great way to spend time with family. We saw deer and elk right out the back door in the three days we were there Enjoy your trip!

We had a fabulous time at the Quikfire Lodge. This cabin is packed full of fun! We played pool, ping pong, shuffle board and corn hole, we sat around the fire pit at night. Such a beautiful setting. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and so much more! Truly a great place!! We highly recommend this cabin and will definitely be back!

The property manager, Kenny, was simply amazing. He was so kind, helpful, informative, and competent, it was almost surreal. He is like a character from a good movie, the wise and wary mountain man gently looking after the greenhorns from the city. The home itself was jaw-dropping due to the view and the quality of construction. There is no AC, but the swamp cooler on the second story is very powerful and gets the job done. Can get a bit warm on the ground floor, but never unbearable. We had two doe and a buck feeding in the backyard on our last day. It was breathtaking. The owner, Mike, sent us a letter the week following our stay alleging several counts of criminal activity during our stay, listing fines and imprisonment that could result from these alleged crimes. Mike is evidently an arson investigator and his wife is a police officer. My family consists of four children between 8 and 12 years old. We committed no crimes. It seems that Mike and Karen have allowed their roles as law enforcement personnel to bleed over into their vacation rental enterprise, treating unruly inhabitants as suspects rather than paying guests. We are currently pursuing litigation against the owners and would never rent this property again, despite the quality of the home and the manager. Mike and Karen used their positions as public safety/law enforcement personnel to threaten and intimidate my family in an effort to extract more money from us. They have a lovely home and a great manager, and I am sure they are excellent at their real jobs, but they are not cut out to be VRBO property owners as their side hustle.
