We came to visit the Hocking Hills area with my sister and her family. We loved the house and the property is spectacular. The kitchen was fully stocked (we ate most every meal there) and it is very spacious. There was a lot of room to spread out. The property is massive and there are so many unique things to see on it. There is an old cemetery, a little cabin, and some beautiful ponds. The trails are well groomed and our dogs loved it! Hocking Hills hiking is quite close (about 15-20 min or so ). The property owner, Tom, is very kind and welcoming. He allowed us tour the other house on the property nearby, which is also beautiful. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

This was a great place to ring in the new year! We had everything we needed and anything we forgot was just a short drive to a cute little grocery store.

The cabin was very spacious. We spent Thanksgiving weekend there and hauled everything to the cabin, including a roaster and all our food and equipment. We had two dogs and four adults and we weren't tripping over each other. Once we figured out the thermostat, it was nice and cozy. The air hockey table offered some fun family entertainment. There his a motion light in the basement/garage area and it came on a few times when no one was down there. There was also the sound of putter patter feet racing across the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom and living room. We never saw any sign of rodents, and having lived in the country, it really didn't bother us. The house was really clean considering they allow dogs. My nephew wants to return.

This property was close to the state park of Hocking Hills which allowed access to all the attractions with ease. The property is pet friendly, so for those traveling with pets it is a nice perk. Spent a good amount of time playing pool and watching tv in the main living area, which was very muched enjoyed. The stars at night were spectacular on this property, it was amazing. Now why i gave this property a 4 star was for a few reasons. The first was my family found the beds very uncomfortable, my spouse and I slept on the couch for the nights we were there. There were random men on the property when we returned one day, said they were working on the property and the owner was aware. Random light downstairs would turn on from time to time, think it was in the second garage. Only 5 towels for my family of 5 were provided for the whole 6 day stay, which was out of the normal for us. Overall, this was a nice property to stay at but there were things the owner could do to improve future stays.

The central a/c went out days before our rental. The miss communication resulted in the family with toddlers not being able to stay at all. The kitchen was unusable the entire time... The owner had a decent attitude about it, but there were opportunities for clear communication before people drove for 2 hours to discover an oven.

Beautiful property, and the hosts went above and beyond for us. It was a particularly hot few days, and, even with air conditioning, the bed rooms on the second floor were quite warm. There was one box fan, but, when we asked about additional fans, the host promptly brought two oscillating fans over for us.

The cabin was just as the listing described. There was no cell service but it was a nice break. The property provided a nice quit area for my family and dog to enjoy a long weekend, plenty of room and activities to enjoy our time even with the rain. It was close to the park and hiking trails. We had some hornet issues, the owner responded quickly.

It rained the whole weekend but really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds. There was also plenty to do inside as well. It was very clean and the host was very prompt in answering my questions. I definitely plan to book another stay there again!

Great property. Only complaint I have is there is zero cell phone service and the wifi is next to nothing. Not the owners fault of course. Otherwise, very clean home. Literally EVERYTHING you could need for a stay. Great help and communication from owner. Thanks!

My husband and I wanted an autumn getaway, our favorite time of year. Something large enough that our adult children and their spouses could visit for the weekend. This was the perfect rental for us. It’s difficult to find pet friendly properties so it was refreshing to find this gem. We will visit again!

The space is so unique! I think all of us just spent time walking around and looking at things! It's beautifully decorated and has charm! Hurricane Helene did cause some issues for us on Friday with hiking the trails. It was wonderful checking into the house and having the pool table, games, and air hockey table! Overall we did have a great time. We were a party of 6 with a younger couple, an older couple, and a set of twins. I may have looked at the layout of the rooms incorrectly on the posting, but it wasn't what we expected. There is a bedroom with half bath and an open loft area upstairs. The bedroom does not have a door and the loft area is right there. Might be great for a couple and then small children- but that wasn't our situation. Then there is another bedroom downstairs near the main bathroom with shower. Overall it was plenty of room for everyone- just sleeping arrangements were tricky. There are not TV's in either of the bedrooms. Living Room & Loft have a TV. We truthfully enjoyed the disconnect from the outside world. In the kitchen you truly have everything you could possibly need for making meals! The crock pot was a great item as we were able to throw in ham, green beans, and potatoes to cook while we hiked! As the host states- you are in the woods and bugs can be expected. We did encounter wasps - but most were dead and only one live one found it's way in and was quickly removed- as I'm terrified! The location is perfect for hiking the trails!

We really enjoyed the pool table, being in nature, and the close proximity to Hocking Hills. The hosts, Mary, was great. She got back with us right away if we had any questions. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to be out in nature and close to Hocking Hills.

We LOVED this property! We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and everyone truly enjoyed their stay. As a family we played cornhole, took adventure walks and even played scrabble at night. The wifi can be spotty which as a mother of teenagers I was grateful for, hence the outdoor enjoyment and game playing. The house is eclectic and cool, and also still has the rustic charm of a cabin. Super neat decor. Also, really well stocked with kitchen items and tons of games. Everything about the house and property allowed our family to recharge and enjoy each others' company. Town and amenities are about a 15 minute drive. This did not feel inconvenient because the scenery is beautiful. Would recommend to anyone!!
