We enjoyed the snowy weekend retreat and feeding and watching the deer with the Deer Package that was left for us to feed them.

Wonderful hosts! Beautiful cabin in the woods with beautiful scenery. We had numerous deer come up to the cabin every night. Definitely a 10 out of 10 and would absolutely stay there again!

Home is nestled in a quiet community. My wife and I loved waking up having our coffee on the front porch with the deer waiting to be fed. Great restaurants within a few minutes drive (recommend nicks lake house)

The hideout was so Clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The deer greeted us each morning. Very relaxing.we would definitely recommend the Hideout.

Everything was just as advertised and more! The added touches of coffee, creamers, WINE, and corn for the deer were so much appreciated. This was our second trip staying here and we plan to make it a yearly adventure! Thanks to Barbie & Pete for letting us use your place!

Peaceful abd cozy

We have been to this place twice as a family in one month, and it has been a very beautiful time, we will definitely return next year, thank you for keeping it clean and with the necessary accessories to enjoy this beautiful place.

Simply delightful!!! Comforting and welcoming! Hosts were wonderful and quickly answered all questions! We had 4 women for a small retreat and we were cozy, that was probably the limit for adults. The deer were delightful and the lake is beautiful! I would absolutely stay here again!! Thanks again for everything Barbie!!

This place is the best! We've camped in many places, both in tents and cabins, but this cabin and the place are the best. The cabin is equipped with all the necessary items and things you wouldn't imagine. For example, upon entering the cabin, we found two bottles of wine (free). My wife was delighted with the decor, Everything inside and out was beautiful, My two children were very entertained feeding the deer that arrived in the afternoon and morning, both young and old, We will definitely be back.

This was a nice cute place that was perfect for 2 people. The location was great and easy to get to food places that you can eat out at or market to bring back and cook. The down sides of the place was the bathroom was small and outdated and the lightning was not the best for my wife trying to do her makeup. These 2 things didn’t put a tamper on our time as we had a great time and would rent again.Thank you

We enjoyed this rental. Was just what we were looking for. The house was just as described. The fireplace was great as it was cold an snowy. Having the deer come hang out in the yard was very pleasant. The community looks like it is very nice. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Clean, cozy, inviting, wildlife just off the porch, walked in the woods at Tobyhanna. A good way to relieve stress!

We had a very relaxing time in your neck of the woods while on our Girls’ Trip Getaway. The cabin was perfect. The welcoming bottle of wine and the morning coffee bar were a terrific added bonus. The furniture and beds and were all very comfortable and made us feel at home during our visit. We visited a local farmer’s market and found lots of delicious treats too! We spent our afternoons and evenings on the porch with the relaxing patio fire pit. The deer welcomed us immediately upon our arrival and returned frequently to check on us throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our first, but not last, visit to The Hideout!

Excellent experience at The Hideout!! Perfect place for a small group! Beautiful home, was so comfy and cozy to come back to after adventures out during the days. Highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed staying at The Hideout. Our little one really loved our the deer come right up to the house. The kayaks were a nice experience for the kids. The lake was clean. Overall very nice and convenient place to stay at. Also, very clean house!

My two kids and I loved our stay at The Hideout! The house was comfortable, extremely clean and just perfect for the three of us. We loved the wooded lot next door and enjoyed the deer visitors morning and night.

I really enjoyed my stay. Got to play some golf and got some much needed relaxation. I especially enjoyed seeing the deer. It is a very cozy place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back again.

Front porch has not been cleaned at all

My husband and i spent our honeymoon at this property. Loved it. Did alot of fishing at the lake. Went did alot of site seeing. Went to the Poconos Race track. Even went to the Bushkill Falls. A little drive but enjoyed it. The house was just as the pictures plus some. Definitely going to vist again..

Stayed here for NASCAR weekend. Very convenient to the track. Neat little place. Nice grill, kitchen had the untensils and dishes needed. Didn't use the TV but only once - but worked fine. AC worked great for the hot days! Only thing is it would have been nice if the deck could have been swept or leaf blown from the leaves and ash as we had to use the front door and debris tracked inside.

Nice to be greeted by the deer. Plenty of space for two of us. Well decorated and items provided in the kitchen

It was very hot so the A/C system was much appreciated. The host left us wine and food for the deer that came right to the deck. Everything we needed was available. Enjoyed the porch swing. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet clean cozy place. Exactly as advertised.

Everything was very good, propane tank was a little low... glad I didn't need to do more than one meal...
