Original 1940s cabin, beautifully restored! 2 blocks to lake, 6 min to village!

This cozy cabin was exactly what my family needed to spend time together to slow down and celebrate my birthday! We appreciated the rustic feel and all of the personal, eclectic touches. Coffee on the back porch was our absolute favorite. (There is a camera back there- if you’re okay with that, no big deal) Side note: my daughter left two sweaters and Lisa was kind enough to go out of her way to mail them to us! We will be back! Thank you so much!

The host was very accommodating and very responsive to any questions. The host immediately removed any ‘down’ pillows, etc. when it was noted that one of the guests was allergic to down.

Stayed here with my family for my wife’s birthday weekend, it’s a cozy cabin amongst the trees. We had a dog with us and he loved the yard and the porch to take naps on. Owners were very responsive to our needs and requests.

The cabin is adorable and a good size for the 4 of us plus small dog. Nice area close to the lake, walkable to Pleasure Point Marina. Our first night was great but then woke up to no electricity in all of Big Bear and no guarantees it would come and if it did may happen again due to wind and high temps (fire danger). A fire did break out north of Big Bear. We decided to cut the trip short and return home. The host was very understanding. We will go back again later in the fall when the temps are lower and fire risk not as great.

We had a fantastic stay at this warm and inviting cabin. The views were stunning, the beds were super comfortable, and the couch was perfect for relaxing after a day out. It really felt like a home away from home.One of the best parts for us was how dog friendly the place is. We brought our two dogs, and they loved it just as much as we did. It’s not always easy to find places that welcome pets and still feel this cozy and well cared for.The location was also a huge plus. It’s just minutes from Big Bear Village, which made it easy to explore shops, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy everything the area has to offer while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful mountain setting.The host was friendly and responsive. We appreciated how smooth and easy everything was from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Big Bear.

The property check-in was very easy. I loved all the amenities. Everything you need is there Wi-Fi included. Cabin is definitely on the rustic side with modern amenities. We stood for the weekend brought our two dogs. They had a blast as well would definitely come back.

We stayed here for two weeks. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the neighbor during the first week. He was renovating, and it was loud and very dusty.The house was exactly as described. Without the neighbor, we were able to enjoy the beautiful nature and observe many different birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. Jennifer tried hard to resolve our issue with the neighbor. You can see Big Bear Lake from the patio. We went kayaking, visited Snow Summit, and went hiking on Rock Trail, Cougar Trail, and Woodland Trail. It was the perfect balance of nature and convenience.The cabin itself was cozy, inviting, and clean. It had that classic mountain charm with all the modern comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. Whether we were sipping coffee on the deck in the morning or enjoying a movie night on the couch, everything felt just right.Our host was absolutely wonderful—always responsive, kind, and accommodating. From booking to check-out, communication was seamless and thoughtful.We genuinely didn’t want to leave, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. This cabin is a true gem, and we’ll definitely be returning for another getaway soon!

Cozy winter cabin! Our kids loved it and we were very comfortable. We appreciated the space heater and extra blankets since it can get chilly, especially in the downstairs bedrooms. Location was great. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels, wood for the fireplace...we had a great stay!

I took the family here for a weekend snowplay getaway. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Spacious, beautifully furnished, with all of the amenities, both practical and modern. We will definitely be back

Cozy cabin in a great neighborhood. Nice flat street; great for a walks. cabin was just 4 min away from lake and main boulevard. The heating was great, nice and toasty. Kitchen was well equipped however a bit in the small side; not much counter space. We would stay there again.

Such a cute cabin. Looks rustic on the outside, but nicely remodeled on the inside. But the owner kept the historic details. Perfect! The heat worked great. A large cozy sofa and ottoman and nice big TV was perfect for our family to enjoy holiday movies. Also a beautiful table with bench seat for meals and playing games. Our daughter loved the back bedroom with windows on two walls. She spent most of the time reading books and enjoying the sunrise and sunsets. There was another good sized bedroom next door with newer laundry machines. The large master suite upstairs was nice too. Very spacious and nicely updated bathroom. A short walk to the lake, market, and tasty pizza restaurant and bar. Great for pet owners. A short drive to the main village. I recommend going to breakfast and dinner early because long waits at prime meal times is normal there.

Pros: Great views. Excellent, quiet location nestled among the trees. Huge cozy upstairs bedroom. Sunroom bedroom downstairs with great views. Kitchen with all amenities. Cons: Cleanliness issues. Downstairs floors were swept but in need of a thorough mopping. Coffee maker and tea kettle in need of thorough cleaning.

The cabin is lovely. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the linens soft, and there were plenty of pillows. The little things like real Kleenex brand, kitchen stocked with coffees and teas, and upgraded bathroom products make it far from a rustic experience.

My wife and I had a great time renting this cabin for our 35th anniversary, as did our dogs! Everything was easy due to the excellent communication with the owner which made us feel taken care of. The cabin had all the basics, but details like boxes of tissues in every room, lots of towels, portable heaters, and a big dog bed made it extra nice. Walking around the neighborhood was our favorite part. We highly recommend this property!

Absolutely gorgeous! Just a beautiful location :-) we went to celebrate my son turning seven and the host had such a great recommendation for a bakery nearby. Overall, lots of great coffee and sweets in the area as you're exploring. And there's so much to see! The cabin is so cute and fits the setting perfectly.

Our small family enjoyed a short summer respite at this charming and lovely cabin near Big Bear Lake. The property was clean and cozy. The host was very communicative and all we needed was nearby. Thanks for a fun introduction to the Big Bear area.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was charming and comfortable and the neighborhood was peaceful. Close enough to the village and other activities without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. We had a few questions for the host and she answered very quickly each time and was quite accommodating. We would definitely book again!

We were all impressed by how cute and rustic the cabin was! Just what I was looking for. It was nice and col when we arrived, air conditioning felt great. Beds were very comfortable, nice linens and great pillows! Both bathrooms well appointed, large. Peaceful, relaxing on the porch. I would rent again. Jennifer was very easy to communicate with and even allowed us to get in earlier than the scheduled check in time which was great for our party.

The lake was beautiful and the kids enjoyed fishing. Gas BBQ was great!
