Now, you can rent this home, built by the J.C. Penney family, for your visit. Overlooks Waynesville CC golf course. Recently renovated designer kitchen, dining, family room, large river rock fireplace, large veranda. Master with King Bed and ensuite bath, guest room with queen and bath all on the main floor. Upstairs are 1 BR with 2 twins and 1 BR with a Full Bed. Parking for 3. Staggering Views, but only 5 minutes from Grocery and commercial conveniences. 5-minute drive, 30-minute walk to downtown Waynesville, and 15-minute walk to Hazelwood district. The Penney House is a perfect home base in Waynesville where you can stay while you shop, fish, sightsee, golf, explore, camp, dine out, or just relax.

Had a great stay in Waynesville NC…cabin is spacious with plenty of room to gather, especially the deck overlooking mountains. Great kitchen! Host is responsive..

Property was perfect as we were not there so much. Only tv is in main den and there were no hair dryers provided but everything else we needed was there! Driveway is rather steep, so probably not usable when it ices. Also water pressure in baths is low but works fine for showering. Plenty of beds so would hold a lot!
