This little cabin in the woods has everything you will need for a short or extended stay. The hostess Julie is a pleasure to work with. Easy check-in and out. Beautiful and quiet retreat from all the hustle of normal life.

The owner met us at property to ensure we understood use and check out procedures. Although nice, we didn’t feel it was necessary. The place was clean and comfortable except for the hard mattress. We enjoyed the back porch.

Just one quirk...the bathroom is downstairs and bedroom upstairs. Might be useful info for those with stair climbing concerns. Otherwise spacious and relaxing cabin.

The cabin was perfect for a romantic anniversary weekend. It felt secluded but close to the charming town of Nashville.

What a perfect getaway. Our host, Julie, was extremely kind, gracious, and helpful. With all the hustle and bustle of our wedding, we had missed the note to arrange a meet up time 24 hours prior to our arrival. Julie was kind enough to meet us there with just an hour's notice. (We will be sure to be better with time management next time). The cabin was absolutely pristine and cozy. There were extra blankets to keep warm by the fireplace. The bed was comfortable and we slept like logs. All appliances worked well and were cleaned - not a single complaint. We are very much looking forward to returning for another getaway. Thank you for sharing such a magical place with us, Julie!

We all had a fun time. Shopping in Nashville is always a treat. Brown County State Forest was great to hike and have a picnic with the grandkids too! Cabin was clean and relaxing . We grilled burgers and the next night roasted weiners. Also, walked down the hill to the creek behind the cabin. Fun fun fun!

We had a wonderful stay in this adorable cabin. The location was so convenient to town, but quiet and secluded. We plan on returning! Our host met us at check in and showed us around the property. Please remember (unlike I did) to call ahead to confirm check in. This was my first VRBO stay, and my daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The place was clean we were only using it for sleeping and breakfast while exploring the area. If your use to a soft bed this is not the place.

This was the best VRBO we’ve found yet. Great cabin, well apportioned with appliances and utensils , very comfortable. Secluded and quiet but also only a mile from the quaint little town of Nashville IN where they have about anything you need including a great pizza restaurant just a couple minute drive from the cabin.

Perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Nashville area. Private setting outside of town, yet just a few minutes from downtown Nashville. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a nice deck overlooking the woods. Our host Julie was very helpful, just like meeting an old friend.5 star experience, highly recommended!!!

This place is more perfect that described. It has everything you need for a home away from home. It's quiet but very close to the shopping and eating. Julie Lee greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the little house. The weather was perfect the last weekend in March, and our Mother/Daughter trip was a success. I would stay here again!

I have done a reset weekend every year for the last 6 years and this has been my favorite. Julie was great to work with and very kind. The cabin is perfect.

The place was exactly as described beautiful view off back porch, felt like we were alone though so close to downtown Nashville. Our host was wonderful! She did have to meet us to let us in , it would have been nice to have a lock box instead. Would highly recommend this rental, a real gem!

Old Hickory is as described in the pictures - a cozy, well cared-for cabin in the hills of Brown County. It is perfect for a couple looking for some quiet time together. It is located just a few minutes drive from the town of Nashville and convenient for Brown County State Park. I would not hesitate to rent anything from this host.

My wife and I needed a place for a weekend in Nashville IN and this little place was just what we needed. First, the communication with the owner was nice, she allowed an early check in and met us at the cabin to go over everything. The location to downtown Nashville is perfect only a few minutes from everything. Some downtime with a comfortable night of rest was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to prepare a few meals. The only thing that we would recommend is updating the living room furniture, it is very outdated and very uncomfortable, we found it hard to watch the game and get comfortable. Overall our stay was nice and we would stay here again. Thank you!

We were very pleased with our anniversary stay. It was cozy, clean, and decorated for Christmas! It made for a very relaxing and peaceful time away from the craziness of every day life to just connect with one another!

Property was in a serene wooded setting. If a person didnt know any better, they would think they were in Gatlinburg,. Cabin was cozy and well kept with the necessary amenities. Julie met is at the property for checkin & checkout instructions were clear

I reserved this cabin months ago so me and wife could celebrate our honeymoon. It was cute little cabin, recommend small parties such as a couple getaway or honeymoon and also recommend visiting later on in the week Thursday-Sunday as a lot of the shops/restaurants are closed during the beginning of the week. Conveniently located right outside of Little Nashville.

Such a quaint cabin in the trees. The location was so close to town and yet having the feel of being secluded in nature. Loved coming back to the cabin after a busy day. Extremly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
