Thank you for making everything so perfect for our stay. Hot tub was perfect although a few of us are short and the water level was a bit high for us but that didn’t stop us from enjoying it both nights.

Stayed Feb 12, 2026The owners truly thought of everything. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed—like we were guests, not just renters. Every detail, from the thoughtful design and architecture to the carefully chosen amenities and personal touches, made the space feel special and inviting. Robert communicated clearly and kindly before, during, and after our stay, which made everything effortless and added to the feeling that he truly cared about our experience. My wife and I were taking a rare break from our three kids, and the treehouse was the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and breathe. It felt peaceful, private, and incredibly cozy. We loved exploring the trails behind the cabin, skiing at Seven Springs, and hiking to Fallingwater and Cucumber Falls during our two-night stay. The hot tub was a highlight—quiet, relaxing, and the perfect way to end the day. Helen’s at Seven Springs was an incredible dining experience (make a reservation), and Bittersweet was a wonderful local café for a warm, comforting breakfast. This place gave us exactly what we needed. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back.

Stayed Sep 24, 2025Exceptional accommodations! The owners provided so many surprises for us to enjoy. We had snacks, beverages and s’mores! We had a fun time finding gnomes in their enchanted forest. Although it was raining the entire time we were there, we relaxed on the covered decks and used the provided binoculars to search for wildlife. The trial was well marked. I only made it to the bridge because of foot injuries. However, my husband continued in and explored the area even in the rain. The beds are comfortable and all decorated with care and comfort. Great location to explore Kentuck Knob, Falling Water, Laurel Caverns, and the Historic Summit Inn. Highly recommend !

Stayed Sep 16, 2025The treehouse was amazing! We loved our stay! Bob and Nina provided local beers to taste, complimentary koozies, coffee, snacks, s'mores, firewood, towels for the hot tub, and personal touches in the treehouse welcoming my husband and I to their treehouse. The bathroom is on the first floor and 2 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. TVs in the living room area and main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom had loft bunkbeds with some really cute steps to climb up and in. There are balconies off each bedroom and first floor to view the outdoors and wildlife from all angles. I loved the first floor balcony for coffee in the morning. The seating area for the firepit is underneath the first floor balcony. I would imagine this would be a great cover from rain/snow, but we had beautiful weather while we were there. There is a dry space underneath the treehouse to store campfire wood. The fire globe was beautiful and made our evening perfect for enjoying a few beers by the fire. We did not use the hot tub during our stay, but there is separate patio where the hot tub is located giving a 365 view of the outdoors and wildlife while enjoying the hot tub. There are gnomes throughout the property and a little gnome hunt. If our 7 year old niece was there, I'm sure she'd have us busy looking around for all the gnomes. Definitely a great way to get the kiddos off their phones, exploring, and enjoying nature. We were able to see quite a few deer during our stay. We will be back!

Stayed Jul 3, 2025The Ohiopyle Treehouse is a great escape from the hustle of everyday life. My wife and I spent a long weekend over the July 4th holiday and it was the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy. We spent our days hiking the on-property trails and exploring Ohiopyle State Park, and our evenings relaxing in the hot tub and on the back porch of the treehouse. There is a family of deer that must live nearby, as we watched mom & 2 babies frolicking around the property all weekend. We even took a day to visit Fallingwater (about a 20 minute drive) for a tour and to hike around that property. The treehouse itself was in great condition! The beds and other furniture were very comfortable, and the in-ceiling Bluetooth stereo system provided hours of entertainment. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this property to anyone that asks. I would love to return in the fall or winter to experience the views from the back porch in different seasons!

You won't find a more quaint, clean, beautiful, private place in all of Ohiopyle. It feels luxurious without losing the character of cabin living. Everything is well stocked and well appointed. The firepit area is incredible. And the private hiking trail is amazing, especially if you have kids who appreciate a little whimsy. We've stayed in a ton of VRBOs, and this is by far the best.

Stayed Mar 4, 2025My friend Cathy and I enjoyed 3 nights at the treehouse. It was a wonderful time filled with little acts of hospitality from our hosts….a local beer in the fridge, the supplies for smores, lots of recommendations for what to do. As with any place, we discovered a couple small problems….but they were resolved immediately and did not impact the quality of our stay. One thing I would suggest is to clarify that both bedrooms are upstairs. Cathy and I chose this place thinking the handicapped accessible bathroom and one bedroom were downstairs. That was our mistake and thankfully Cathy had healed sufficiently to have no problems with the stairs. I think a quick clarification would be helpful to future guests.

Stayed Dec 31, 2024We had such a magical time at this amazing treehouse and are already excited to visit again! This beautiful property has lots of fun touches to discover both in the treehouse and on the trails in the woods — I won't spoil the surprise! — and the owners really thought of everything to make it delightful. It really felt like home and we were sad to leave! The hot tub was a major highlight, as well as the built-in bluetooth speakers throughout the treehouse! Fire wood, snacks, and coffee were generously provided — the owners even left everything we needed to make s'mores! We also LOVED the handmade pottery and purchased mugs that were for sale :) The property was clean, there was a space heater in the bathroom, and plenty of towels. Every little thing was thought of and we appreciated it so much! It is clear the owners truly care about their guests. We are excited to make visits to the Ohiopyle Treehouse a regular event for our family. Thank you so much, Bob and Nina! God bless you!

Stayed Nov 15, 2024Our recent mom friends getaway at the Ohiopyle Treehouse was wonderful! The accommodations were charming, cozy, and inviting with a notable (and much appreciated) attention to detail. The overall vibe was relaxed and fun- we loved the cozy kitchen space for cooking meals together, the stunning outdoor areas for hiking and enjoying beverages by the fire, and indoor minimalist design (that prioritized rest and relaxation). The highlights were the interactive hike right on the property (hello gnomes!) and exploring the local attractions- Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater. Waking up surrounded by trees and nature was just what this group of moms needed and we can't wait to plan our next group trip back here to create even more memories to last a lifetime!
