Northwoods Get Away! Enjoy the privacy of this property & large game room!

Perfect place for our group

John and Amy were very hands on from the day I reserved their beautiful house. Questions were answered swiftly. We rented for our snowmobile club trip with what ended up being 10 people. We had plenty of room. The place was clean, beds were very comfortable and had extra pillows available. The towels provided weren't your usual small hotel towels, they were nice , big and absorbent ones, which I appreciated. Highly recommended. The only drawback as a snowmobiler was the distance to anything, such as gas stations or restaurants. The trail is just down the road and easily accessible.

Nice large cabin that accommodates larger group of guests. Good amenities, play area and plenty of bedrooms. We had a great time staying at this place and looking forward to visit again.

Great space for our family Christmas. We loved the game room and great sleeping spaces. Hosts were very quick to respond.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great base camp for our 4 wheeler weekend. The great weather allowed us to enjoy the big deck and the fire pit!

The bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great, the rec room was the perfect place for the grandkids to have lots of fun, very nice outdoor fire pit to set around and make s’mores, overall a very beautiful home, would love to stay again.

Check-in was easy and simple.Deck had citronella candles ready which were needed. Garage was a perfect hangout spot and the beds were comfy. Would book again.

This is our second time staying at Northwoods Get Away. This is a really big house which fit our family reunion needs perfectly. It has five bedrooms, a large loft for sleeping, and four full bathrooms with showers. We had four families and everyone had a room or bed to sleep in. The house has three levels. On the main floor is the kitchen, dining room, living room, large walk-in pantry, and a full bathroom. The lower level has two bedrooms, a second kitchen, and a family room. Up on the second floor are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. The huge master bedroom is on this floor, which has a King bed, two large closets, and its own private bathroom. Up one more level is a large loft with a lot of queen beds. The kids loved sleeping in this area. Our group of 15 made good use of the two refrigerators, two ovens, two dishwashers, abundance of cupboards and two sets of washer/dryers. There is a really large game room (converted garage) which the kids and the adults used a lot. It had a pool table, ping pong table, two game tables, lots of games, and even a bar. We also used the large outdoor deck a lot. It had patio furniture, two large picnic tables, and a grill. There were a lot of DVD’s, games, and toys available. Outdoors, there was a large fire pit surrounded by outdoor furniture. We used this area often for making pudgy pies and s’mores. Note: this house is not on the water, but we swam, kayaked, and went tubing close by. If you stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Everything was good. The kitchen was very well stocked. A good place for a large group.

This was our first experience with a VRBO stay and Amy and Johns property did not disappoint. It was a fantastic home with plenty of space for our family. The kids enjoyed the game room learning to play ping pong and the location was wonderful for ATV trail access.

Enjoyed our time with 18 family members from 61 years ols to 6 months. Just a couple things... need more hand towels in the kitchen... there was only 1. Garage smelled horribly musty and had mice. But overall a nice place.

The place was great and had plenty of room for the whole family (17). The basement was a little musty at first but it was cool and heating the basement took care of things. I would book this again.

This house is awesome. there were 10 of us--we had enough space for all of us. The pics and description were exactly how the property is. Easy access to the trails. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and silverware. The beds were SO COMFY! We totally enjoyed ourselves. We hope to stay here again!! Thank you for the awesome home and location to ride the trails.

This was our third visit. We have gotten pretty good at dealing with the heating issues. Cold (41 degrees when we arrived) in the lower level and hot on the top 2 floors. This time we had a new challenge. We had to limit our water usage due to the septic system being frozen. I appreciated the extra effort the owner made to have the holding tank pumped rather than cancel our reservation, but it was stressful not knowing if each toilet flush might be the one that maxed out our 1000-gallon limit.

We always have a great time with family here. We were disappointed with the temp in the garage/game/room when we arrived. 30 Degrees and no heater. We had to purchase a heater in order to be out in game room , very cold. House is cozy & all beds very comfortable except for double bed in toy room. Lighting in kitchen could be a lot brighter. Overall a wonderful time was had by all. Thankyou

Perfect for the large group to stay and ride for the weekend just off the trail. Comfortable beds and nice garage to hangout and have some beers after you get back! 5th year staying here and we will be back

Wonderful wooded privacy get a way for large families. Many private bedrooms, with large deck and fire pit for gatherings. Garage had ping pong and pool table to hang out to spread people out. With 4 bathrooms it was never a problem with our group of 12 adults. Having two large picnic tables on the deck was great for dinners along with a table inside that seated 8. Lots of parking for two large trailers we had for side by sides. Would rent again if in the area.

Property was perfect for our guys weekend away

We had 13 adults and teens for an ATV trip. This VRBO was perfect, with lots of space and plenty of parking for trailers. Great location for trails.

Property met all off our expectations and needs, loved the inside the garage room and outdoor fire pit and deck. Everything went smooth, the main level toilet flush thing stopped working within a few hours but didn’t cause any problems with us. Appreciated the early check in
